Mmmm Tyson map. So I played this one slow intentionally as I like the midi. This map can be done in 3 mins flat, but ain't worth it. The only annoying thing about this map is the baron with the army of demons blocking him off. Aside from that the maps fairly basic... I'd say to its downfall honestly...

A pretty looking grain of salt map, but the platforming can be bad. I just Sr50 across it, and it works every time haha.

To celebrate the Halloween season I've recorded a bunch of the wormwood maps on days I wanted a bit of punishment. In truth a majority of the maps from EU aren't very tough, in fact they are more gimmick heavy. I like map 03 a lot, but hate the first fight. Since its heavy reliance on an rng fight is dumb... and map 04 sucks period.

Fun fight, but pretty straight forward. You bait their rockets into the wall and then doge it. Note: In the distance are cyberdemons who can snipe you if you get too close to the fencing on the right :)

Dark Resolution 2008 Map 02 - UV Max [WR]

Well for a first time map this one has a very wolfenstein 3d feel to it. Heavy zombie usage that can fuck you left and right, but yeah. Old WR was 6 mins and 8 secs. Wasn't too hard to beat that time tbh, just needed to play more loose with my zombies and bot into everything. In truth this can be a 5 minutes flat with more stupid play, but 5:47 is good enough for me.

Originally I was going to try for WR on this map, but given how rng dependent certain fights can be I just played it casual. 6 minutes off WR but whatever. I adore this map, but the start of the map is slow, boring, and unfun. However that is 100% intended.

I was tired and half awake when recording this, so gameplay ain't going to be amazing here Anyway... this maps just a slaughter map. I've never actually died to anything in this map before... and the whole blur sphere thing doesn't actually add to the difficulty... Just seems tacked on for the sake of existing

It's an old recording of a unknown project by Ribbiks called Jq2. In truth all of these maps suck. But seeing as map 03 was a tyson map I wanted to play it, and it's very... iffy combat wise. A fun novel map made by Ribbiks. It's just you a bfg and a bunch of shit! fun map to play. Originally I played this to see if I could out do my buddy. Seems I beat them by a few seconds & to be exact. But whatever. Might go for WR on this.

Yeah this map was pretty painful for me to max, but being the first person to do it is something I guess. Although about the difficulty of the map, I'll say this. The difficulty strictly stems from the lack of health, as the enemies aren't exactly used in a dangerous manor. But yeah.... at some point (maybe today) I'll max Darkwave32.
When asked why he plays so aggressive with the BFG in a post game interview he answered "I don't know man, easy"

Cool to see darkwave's standalone releases getting more exposure.
Yeah, when I played speed of doom I looked at what else Darkwave made, and noticed nobody recorded anything of his series but Darkwave32. And so I figured why not showcase his lesser works n’all. I plan to max Darkwave 24 at some point, just need to reroute that map a bit. Since starting that maps honestly painful for me. Darkwave32 I’ve maxed a few times in the past, severely underrated map series I feel… hopefully these vids will get more people looking at them!
