2 Days in Florence, Italy 2024 VLOG | Best Food and Things to Do | Tuscany Travel Guide
This is the fourth VLOG in our Italy series. We spent 48 hours in Firenze. Florence was our favourite city in all of Italy. It is absolutely gorgeous! We look at some of the most amazing sights, including the Piazza Del Duomo, give you a tour of the best apartment in all of Florence, visit the most incredible pharmacy and perfume store we have ever seen! We also have the famous Florence affogato and show you the best places to get the most incredible views in all of Florence.

Hi. When you eat long pasta, you can help with a spoon instead of the knife. Ask for a spoon if it isn't on the table.
Those kind of "ravioli" are called "gnudi" which means naked in in Tuscan dialect, basically are made out of the filling of the classic ravioli with ricotta cheese and spinach, just without the actual dumpling cover. A classic Florentine dish. 😊

Per favore non andate al mc don quando siete in Italia e non solo, purtroppo anche i nostri ragazzini frequentano questi locali, il tutto è dovuto al martellamento pubblicitario. Sono i posti peggiori dove mangiare e non hanno niente a che vedere con le tradizioni culinarie tradizionali e locali. E' lo strapotere delle multi nazionali che disintegrano la vera essenza della tipicità del posto. ovunque.......... vi prego

It's a pity you didn't research more thoroughly because when you finish at the Vatican museums you can take the back way straight into the Basilica di San Pietro. Maybe next time.
There’s always next time! We weren’t there for too long. We had already been in the Museum for a couple hours, and had to make the most of our day. Our basilica ticket wasn’t a skip the line either
You can ONLY if you’re with an authorized guide of the province of Rome that is also accredited to the Vatican museums. Or with a Vatican guide. Research more…

We ate the best food in the world too - we definitely didn’t miss out on any of them. This is obviously just some of the food we are…but it’s something we also just had to try just for the giggles 😂

Looks like you had an amazing time in Naples just like me! Those pizzas and pastries sure looked good! Naples sure sounds like a city full of hidden gems, from the delicious ragu to the historic Santa Chiara Monastery! Would love to explore more of Naples on my next visit in Italy. I recently got back from Sicily, and the food there was incredible too! Were you also able to stop by Sicily as well? 👀
Naples was lovely. So much to do in Naples. We haven’t gone to Sicily yet but are planning on it next time!

Haha, Naples has amazing pizza and gelato, but gotta agree about balancing it out! I'm with you on planning for healthy eats for Naples! But I gotta say, you should also try an authentic pizza margarita at least. Went to Naples recently and made sure I tried this!
This is only neapolitan street food! In Naples we eat healty at home. We have a lot of healty traditional dishes that you don't find in the street. Naples is reach of vegetables and fruit in the restaurant

We bought the Ferry ticket using the Omio app! You can also buy a ticket directly from NLG, the ferry company, but we found it easier to have all our tickets on the one app. Highly recommend!

Yes, we are mindful of our health - but honestly we ate so much throughout the day that we just got to the point where sharing one meal was enough. The portion sizes were also quite big!
