I never even knew walnuts had skins!
Very simple and interesting way to make walnut ink
I would add alcohol for mild and gum Arabic for flow
can we simply choose any grass to do this grass paper?
what type of grass is that?
Exceptional❤
Well, that was clear and simple. Thanks!! And the extra alcohol tip is gold!
🤩
👍 👍🤩
A heart was formed 0:30 ❤😊
#tessethings wow HALLELUYAH PRAISE THE LORD
Nutmeg Tavern brought me here. I thank you both!
Did you add alcohol for a preservative? Maybe I missed that. Otherwise it will mold?
Or lemongrass essential oil
Love your channel, just found you from your walnut ink video. Keep it up!
That is good 😊 .
👍
Well done. No unnecessary jargon just exactly what I was looking for. Thanks
Thank u so much sharing this knowledge
Thank you🎉
I think you can just rub a cloth on the bottom when its still wet and it will pop out so you can do multiple at a time.
Good❤
So simple yet so interesting
Magic
Why not just use the plant like they do rather than adding stuff
This is nice but paper fiber need more whitening on sun.
As usual, amazing advice and exceptional creativity. Big thumbs up.
should be titled *watch* me make grass paper, without showing you crucial info like how you know its boiled "enough" lol
Loved it!
Great short.
lowkey an insightful video, this also is the basis of a lot of geometrical proof systems
does it bleed with ink?
I wonder if it’s waterproof. Would it be intended to be used by Registrars and for archival purposes?
Ink fades over the years. I do not recommend.
Please tell me about the grass that are not eaten by mother cow
What is ur backgrounds 2 make a paper from grass
Hi, this is really lovely. How many days did it take to dry - was it left to dry naturally or did you have a fan blowing at it? Thank you for any help.
probably like 2 - 4 hours, depending on the day
I think you should put up the whole process of making it finer because that would help us a lot :).
I tried making but my paper is brittle. Why?
I watched the Shanghai character sketch develop. I see the commonality better here now. The organic flow of lines, the spaces, the shadows and shapes. As Arnie says as the terminator: Ah’ll be Bach! So much to learn. Thank you!
Awe. How you did the drops first, the foreground, of course. And texturally added the background of buildings, softly around the drops. Awe.
‘Catching’ individuals before they leave, it is interesting to see your very different approach of working different characters and going back to fill in more as you continue. it is a different way from your nature views. There is a thing I learned to do in nature. I see one Indian Pipe plant, but only. I say, I want to see more or all the Indian Plants here, and slowly they seemingly ‘pop up’ and let me see them, hidden under another plant, and even right out in the open! How did I miss them?! That is how I feel about seeing the characters in your sketch. “Whoa, there’s another one that must be included!” Smiling here!
i could watch and rewatch your process many times over and keep learning something new. Thank you.
It is ‘as if’ you mind took a snapshot and your hard is reproducing the view your spirit selected to express the current moment’s experience. The process of this drawing was so sequential and beautifully rendered. Thank you! I just discovered your TEDx talk on drawing and already shared that with 4 special others in my life. Your simplicity is profound, your accuracy in describing and in doing is inspiring. Thank you again.
Sir, do you sell your products?
You're not even explaining what you're doing I have no idea how long you boiled this how much water you've used how much time it took you don't explain nothing
can i turn it white by using food coloring?
You are a great artist !! How did you animate your drawings for this video?
Amazingly explained!!
Can you write on it?
Wie lichtecht ist die Tinte denn? Und wieviel Alkohol braucht man so ungefähr zum haltbar machen?
I also wonder how lightfast it is.
It is better to crystallize the ink.
GROSSARTIG! Lasst Bilder sprechen… Danke dir, werde das in den nächsten Wochen ausprobieren.
