some good progress at the Winchester site - visible now are the pedestals and main building as well as various groundworks and security fencing. Will eventually become the UKs largest charging hub by a single operator with x44 rapid CCS charging bays.

A slightly interesting charging site has opened in Sheffield, on the city approach of the A57. While its not architecturally significant the layout and design is interesting for other operators trying to repurpose parking bays for EV charging in a fairly busy and cramped retail park. A key site on the A1 between Pontefract and Doncaster, on this occasion not much progress since last visit in July. You can see the new tarmac for the offramp and perhaps some work on the new building units but nothing to see regarding chargers or the derelict hotel at the back which id expect to be demolished at some stage.

A new site for us, Welcome Break are building a brand new service area at the Rotherham roundabout at Junction 33 of the M1. Decent progress on the A57 site heading into the city centre off Cricket Inn Road. The area around the substation has proper protecting bollards, and many of the Kempower units are installed and being connected up.
