Very nice video! The equipment was from 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force based at Camp Pendleton, CA. They were headed to Camp Roberts to conducted Exercise Pioneer Express from, Aug. 28-Sept. 10, 2015, to allow the battalion to operate as a whole with the focus specifically on engineering.

This locomotive is one of three known locomotives to be built by Disney Imagineer Bob Harpur. Of the three, this is the only one still running on steam as the other two, located at Six Flags Over Georgia, have been converted to diesel hydraulic power.

Lovely to see 3399 again! SP 3399 was local power based out of OZOL yard during a formative portion of my childhood. I'm not sure with the wind noise, but I have goosebumps listening to her so there's something about how she still sounds: engine, horn, ticking air compressor -- so happy to have stumbled upon this vid!

According to the _Huntsville_Times_ this train engine was part of the failed Space City USA amusement park near Huntsville, Alabama, in the early 1960s. www.al.com/breaking/2012/03/space_city_amusement_park_prop.html

That’s one of only nine locomotives that has a raised letter K5HLB horn! The other eight are BNSF 8025,8026 & 8052, KCS 4817,4818 4834 CSX 5284 & CP 8706. Unfortunately KCS 4817’s K5HLB got fouled.
