Scientology is an insane "religion", it is a means for the gullible to give them money.

As an attorney and someone who totally enjoys what he does, BL is my fav lawyer show right next to Suits! Different shows but BL is my kind of entertainment. I have used some of their lines in actual cases (with proper footnoting of course). I once heard one of the creators of the show say one of their objectives was something like "we wanted to push the envelope to the limit then go a little further." Great great show!

The only thing wrong with this scene is that a real Scientologist would never admit any of this. They would lie like a rug. They call themselves the most 'ethical' people on the planet. Problem is, in Scientology, 'ethical' means ANYTHING THAT BENEFITS SCIENTOLOGY. It is 'ethical' to do anything in support of the church, including lying, cheating, and stealing.

When this show aired 2009ish? Scientology had an estimated 100-200 thousand membership, but due to their secrecy, those numbers may be low. As of 2020 their membership was down significantly to an estimated 30-50 thousand. Let's see if we can get that to 0!

It's been about 30 years since my last interactions with scientologist I used to live in Hollywood in an apartment complex called the Shangri-la lodge all but 2 of us were scientologist my last week of living their I witnessed an escape from the celebrity center which was right across the street I was out on my balcony relaxing when I heard a ruckus & noticed a jeep in idle in the street then out of nowhere a man running & screaming for his life popped out of the bushes & within seconds a mob of scientologist right behind him , he was screaming at his getaway driver to go as he was still running , he was able to catch up to the jeep & grab onto a bar & hold on for dear life I do believe he got away because the 101 freeway was right their , I have other stories which all happened in a short period of time but that last one had me terrified & I was outta that apartment complex within 24hours.
