This is a fairly “low tech” method but I suppose it gets the job done. The better option IMO though is just to get a Syvecs AWD controller. With that setup you can go rwd only to heat your tires or otherwise do burnouts and then there is also lots of other adjustability to dial in your AWD launch, there’s an eco mode which will keep it rwd with the diff open until it detects a lot of wheelspin then the awd kicks back in, there are modes for snow/inclement weather where the awd lock is strong right off idle for increased traction. If you’re getting serious with your AWD Q50/60 build it’s a very worthwhile mod.
