I worked for Mike in the early 2000's at the Radisson in Flagstaff. He changed my life when he hired and trained me. Little did I know at the time, but I was working for one of the best chef's I'd ever work for. Over twenty years later it's tough to find the quality and pride he put into his work. High standards and quality didn't mean no fun. I dressed up as "stereotypical asian" for Halloween one year and thought he was going to die of laughter when I went out to cook tables....... During one part of a Pink Floyd song he'd always grab me and say the part " one of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces" then the guitars would kick in!!! Too many great memories. Boy did we have fun while still providing high quality professional food. Miss him. Great stories from the family. Exactly the man we knew too. Great man gone too soon...

Wow. I was not aware that Jimmy had past away. I came across this news on FB today. I went to school with Jimmy from elementary through high school. He was always so kind. After high school I'd seen him at KFC a few times since. But after that I hadn't ran into him for years. I just had to leave a comment because I just will never forget how kind Jimmy was. People like him truly impact people's lives. I'm so sorry he's gone so soon. Praying for healing for all his loved ones ❤
