Hello you tubers, this channel isn't really about Bushcraft, there's plenty of BC videos to be found here on YT, but it is an Outdoors channel and there maybe some Bushcrafty bits at times, I hope you enjoy my videos, I'm not a prolific video maker but I will try and keep them a bit different and interesting, going to places most people across the UK and the world would not have been to or seen before, thank you for watching, please like, share and subscribe, thank you, atb, Paul. It is and the weather was kind too, I'm happy you enjoyed the video, it's been a while and there will be more. All the best, Paul.
@@neanderthaloutdoors9202 it was a really well shot video with some great historical details too. Almost felt like being there. Cheers!

Fantastic video and well put together, beautiful area next time you are down we will try and head out for that camp ⛺️
Definitely mate, we'll bring the Wiltshire 🌞 down with us for you, look forward to catching up again and a camp out.
Great to see you and yours out and about again, life feel back to normal again. Nice tones of green, perfect blend for DPM test. Stay well mate. Harry......out
Hello Harry hope you're well, it feels good to have put a video up at last, I kind of lost my mojo, more to come. All the best to you and your dog 👍🏻. Paul.

🤣 your funny....... 😏
Cool place to visit indeed,Been there a couple of times
We are lucky it's only about 20 miles from us. Thank you for watching and commenting. All the best. Paul.
There's lots of fake Walter Mitty's on YT. Be very skeptical and careful. There's lots of convicted criminals, frauds, con men, liars, bloaters and cheats out there. Don't believe anyone who says they were a special forces intelligence operative in the British Army / MI5 etc. Have you ever been to Finland ? Ever eaten Reindeer ? What about other large Nordic forest animals ? Some leave a bad taste in your mouth. Always take salt.
Why arnt you out with mitch, shovel and da funkyprepper?
We live over 100 miles apart from each other, we're only all together when we organise a trip out.
👍👍
👍🏻
I really enjoyed this lovely video, with my hot chocolate ☕. debs xx .........
Thank you Deb's, I really enjoyed making it, shame its 2 parts not one reel. Thank you and atvb to you. Paul.
Nice set up Paul. The wood stove for your trangia makes sense - I mean good wind break. Decent tarp from your son to. All the best dude. Mark
Hi Mark, it does, and when/if I run out of meths I can burn sticks too, multi use gear mate. Hope your well and all the best to you.
@@neanderthaloutdoors9202 Hey, good to hear about the sticks Paul. Me? Been injured but working on it.
Receiving the love Paul. Great vibes out in the snow bro. Good going. Mark
Hi Mark, yeah I had to get the hammock out while it was snowing, we don't get snow too often, it was a relaxing day. All the best to you.
@@neanderthaloutdoors9202 I get the uplift. We love snow.
I'm not kidding that looks an incredible place Paul. I mean you can sense the wild of the Coast and the layers of history. I mean people lived that close to the edge. Not sure if I like that new bridge or not - it certainly looks impressive. Not as impressive as the sea though and them rock formations. Fantastic explore. I hope you're well bro. All the best out there. Mark
Hi Mark how's you, it is a magical place to visit, full of genuine and mythical history. The new bridge took a bit of getting used to but apparently it represents the original land bridge that collapsed into the sea at some point. All the best to you.
@@neanderthaloutdoors9202 I'm getting on Paul thanks. Yeah, it's multi layered this area for sure. The bridge looks a bit modern but I can kind of see the beauty in it.
That looks like a fun time, stay safe Paul!
Hello there, yes it was an enjoyable day bud, and yourself, stay safe and all the best to you
Have you got an under quilt for the hammock?
No I have not got one, for overnight hammocking I use a self inflating kip mat.
Good to see you out and about in 2023!
Cheer's bud it was a pleasureable day and needed, hope your well and all the best to you. Paul.
@@neanderthaloutdoors9202 Thanks so much!
Brew and a chill in a lovely woodland with the sound of rain on the tarp. Does not get any better than that. Wizard.
It is one of my favourite past times mate, and perfect for a bit of knife on wood practice. Talking of knives, how's that little gutter/Skinner I made you coping mate, hope it's holding out OK. All the best to you both.
Good to see you buddy. Love that sound of rain on the tarp. Magic.
Hello Moose and I hope your better now mate, yeah that sound is magic, having a 360 view while being comfortable and dry in the rain and snow cannot be beat. My kind regards to your better half mate and atvb to you both.
Your back again! Tidy set up there, all the titanium niceness, still cant beat a trangia burner though, imagine trying to chop up wood to go in that housing 🤨 I got one of those mugs, brilliant idea, although I take ready ground coffee with me. You a bit posh see 🫡
Yeah I forgot to splice them together for one vid. It's a tried and proven brew kit mate, had it for year's now, oh yes Trangia every time unless there's a fire going and I agree about the Vargo as a fire pit, emergency only. They are brilliant coffee mugs and perfect for a fresh brew in the wood's. Nowt wrong with ready ground but it doesn't keep its freshness as long as bean's plus I like grinding them, and it makes me feel posh 😁. Hope you're well and good your end mate and atvb to you. Paul.
Thats the way to put your basha up 👍 drum tight. Good to see you enjoying the balmy British weather. Greets from Sub tropical Wales 😁
Haha yeah a loose tarp ain't no good to no one mate 👍🏻. Cheer's it's good to get out in the balmy weather now n then. Hope Wales is being kind with the snow 🤔
@@neanderthaloutdoors9202 honest. I never had a flake here. On the coast at sea level where I live, snow never falls. Go out of town five miles and the roads were closed all around us. 👍🏴
@@welshboyoo715 Ah yeah air is a bit warmer and salty by the coast but you haven't got far to go for the good stuff when it fall's though mate. All the best and be safe 👍🏻
You convince yourself we're moving into spring then this happens. Funny time of year this. I love it! Looking forward to summer though!
I've been expecting snow so was ready, it didn't last though and turned to light rain, thought I'd get out anyway. Hope your well and good your end Matt and all the best to you.
thank you for showing us your camp and cook-set, Paul. Stay safe and stay warm
I felt I needed to put up a video, sorry the content wasn't great though, cheers bud.
Nice camp set-up. Great to see you again, Paul. Stay safe and stay warm

Hi Terry, it was a needed day out mate, and the weather was excellent. Hope your well mate and all the best to you and yours.
I wished I didn't have a job on when it snowed or I'd have been doing the same as you, Paul. I hope you had a few hours out enjoying it. What a pleasure! 😉👍🏼
Ah we have to give ourselves the time to enjoy our lives bud, there may be more snow on its way. Time spent in the wood's is always good for the mind. All the best to you bud.
Well done Paul. Great coffee set up
Works well, makes a great fresh cup of coffee. All the best to you.
Great to see you Paul, you looked cosy in the hammock. Go well my friend.
