Taking a closer look at our Husky 450 for sale. The 2014 FC was essentially a KTM 450 SX with the composite subframe and a few other minor differences like plastics, no-tools air filter access, and ECU map switch. And a lot of Torx bolts! This bike has been heavily massaged with a full WP Factory GP fork and shock setup just a year ago. It also has the prerequisite full titanium FMF 4.1 system ...
How did I not see your truck before? I lived on the same street (other side of 7th) at that time and had an orange ‘72 stepside and a ‘74 fleetside. 😂. My son now has the fleet side in Norfolk, Virginia. I’m forwarding the video to him to see if he recognizes “the hood.” 😎
Put the motor in these can drive to hell and back if you look up dependable in dictionary it should have a have a picture of this car
If I ever try to start the bike with the kill switch on it makes a giant.loud gun like sounds that scares the s*** out of everyone...
Does it hurt the bike

Love my VTR!
buen dia las valvulas de que moto son compatibles con la honda superhawk vtr 996 modelo 98 tengo una moto y no puedo encontrar las valvulas se enchuecaron me urge orientenme o donde puedo conseguir las valvulas para la moto
I have a VTR also with yoshis. Best sounding machine I've owned
It's been dropped...
Stock headers not Yoshimura..
This bike does not compete with any 1000cc bike today. But make no mistake it is very quick for it’s age and you will have tons of fun with it, more specifically NOT A BEGINNER BIKE.
I have a 600 and I'm a bit worried about jumping to a 1000 will this bike be more manageable than a modern day liter bike
@@Marko-bh3plI hopped on one of these after a 250 dirtbike and I never had an issue
Very nice but why on earth put a dampener on a firestorm ? They literally never "guidonne" (french word, ie front wheel oscillation, don't know what you call it in English, wobble ?)
Dónde puedo conseguir los stop o faros traseros?
What you still it for?
Just picked one up with 17k on it and I love it. At 64 years old I’ve found my new love to accompany me in these Tennessee hills.
Make sure you take the stock timing chain tensioner out and put in a manual bike won't make it past 30,000 miles if you don't promise you I learned the hard way wish somebody would have told me this ua-cam.com/video/NeI70izGP3M/v-deo.htmlsi=wPhER4smNons-Zr4
Did it already sell ?
The steering damper is just bling, the bike does not need it at all, the bike is very stable. The best "bang for your buck" modification is a fork brace. The Racetech internals are made to be used with a 5W fork oil
what are the benefits of a fork brace?
What makes the VTR so great is it's power plant. It delivers torque in the low and mid RPM range like no inline 4 can, except for the Bandit, which has considerably more displacement...
What seat is that?
Great bike…I Love my VTR…Lots of torque and sweet exhaust song!
Very Niice 🍻🇨🇦

Own the same bike mine has gold powder coated wheels to match the brake calipers and a matching red hugger on the back wheel both mods suit it well.
Do you still have a 2bbl on that? Or did you upgrade to a 4?
If the Yoshi cans are carbon fibre, you may want to replace them, the Firestorm is renowned for vibration and resonance causing them to crack.
No, the bike doesn't vibrate unless the carb synch is way out, then it vibrates a little at 4500rpm
@@BearsTrains I found vibration to be noticeable throughout the rev range, although the problem did become more acute at higher rpm.
@@darkknight1340 There must be something wrong as mine is smooth as silk. I have seen some CF cans fail but they were after 60-70,000 kms on Australian roads. I have CF Jardines on my bike and they are still ok after 80,000km. My BMW R1100S vibrates a lot more than the VTR. Of course, my VTR is black which is the fastest color which may have something to do with it 😁. They DO vibrate a lot under 3000 and I believe this is the cause of the ACCT failures (people ride them like a Harley and lug the engine but is just a theory). I never ride under 3k and I replaced the ACCTS with Kreigers at 83000, more due to peer pressure than anything else. I have met riders who say they have a vibration even though the carbs were synched but it turned out in every case that they (or their mechanic) set the the carbs to exactly the same reading (which you would expect to be correct) but the rear cylinder has to be higher by 20mm/Hg or something. Been a few years since I did it.
53k and still strong as ever XD
oh you bought it? Im looking for my first superbike, nothing fancy lol.
@@caliael3346 nope! I have the same one CX this bike is INCREDIBLE, was my second bike easy to learn, fast, all around phenomenal.

Are those 4 over forks?
Damn best lookn sporty ive ever seen
Thanks! It was customized by the original selling dealer back in '77 or so. The gold leaf detailing was really nice!
I noticed that when you started up this 1985 LTD Wagon, it made no warning sound at all. Did this LTD Wagon original come with a chime or a buzzer?
Good point! I do remember that annoying sound from my old 85 Stang now that you mention it! Couldn't tell you why this one didn't do it though. Very original car though-minus the odd roof paint. Car now lives in SF.
Where you get that seat
Hey Jorge, the king and queen seat came with the bike when I got it but it was installed back in '77 or so when originally customized by the selling dealer, Bartels HD in Marina del Rey.
my favorite Harley-Davidson Song ua-cam.com/video/QqzMFC60v_Q/v-deo.html
Here we go again another person and I am saying person in a very loose way so that I don't say something I regret later that is basically stating oh this is a cold start excuse me you can brag about a fucking cold start when you are on the other fucking side of the bike kick starting it But when your using electric start But when your using an electric starter it doesn't make a damn bit difference of its cold hot or lukewarm it doesn't make any difference it is the equivalent of saying its a little warm up there at the top of that Volcano that spitting out 3000゚ molten rock Fucking idiots don't know nothing about bikes or bikers You know bikers real men
Jeez looks like someone shit the bed when they woke up, the point is to listen to the sound of the engine not brag about how good their starter is
Hey Randlee thanks for your super positive and uplifting words! I'm not really sure what would satisfy you here. Possibly a cold kick start? The bike doesn't have one clearly. Or did you want a hot start with me pointing an infrared thermometer at the cylinders? What I do know about bikes (clearly less than you) is that when someone comes to buy them (and they always do) they want the bike to start and run and that's what this video is intended to show. Now go for a ride and blow off some steam good sir!
sad insecure little man
Good effort, definitely sounds great and you learned that Amazon cams suck I guess. I am considering this for my 68 Loadstar, sounds good.
Yeah it's my first effort lol. It was $80 and it's waterproof, and you can watch the live feed from your phone. But you get what you pay for!
Dream bike😭
