And James is a class 28
Dude everybody and their dog knows what their technical basis is. The author did not make these repaints, they are reskins from somewhere else online. TSC does not have a Furness Larger Seagulls available for reskinning and neither is James' class, and even if it did exist none of his class actually got a pony truck so you'd have to put up with James being an 0-6-0. The model for James used for the reskin is literally the closest thing you will get to a real James without having to custom build a one-off design. When it comes to reskins you make do with what you have.
I often recommend the CR 721 for Edward, fits better in my opinion, This was brilliant nonetheless, props!
funny thing the firebox types are swapped, James has the rounded top firebox, and Edward has the belpaire
Funny thing is unlike the illustrations (which Awdry himself on several occasions said shouldn't be taken too seriously) these models are actually based on real locos. The model used for James is literally the closest thing you'll get to a real James without having to custom build one (Caledonian Class 34, a class of former 0-6-0 goods tender engines given a front pony truck to try and give the class more stability at speed).

@@Dimgio Yeah.. too bad they didn't use the NBR 4-4-0 K class Glen, the NBR M class (Very Similar to Edward and built in 1890, though sadly they're scrapped), or the LNER D40 for Edward.
None of which are probably available for TSC... You make do with what you got.
