The nail that Geto picked up was just the source of the veil. He was using the fight between Mahito/Mechamaru to finish testing it before Halloween. The veil was also why Mechamaru couldn’t just run away. He had to defeat Geto in order to destroy the veil and escape/make contact with Gojo. In season 1 we saw a similar nail object when they attacked the school during the exchange event. The coat rack guy hammered a nail in that lowered the “anti-Gojo” veil.

Its final Chapter, not final story. There are more stories to be told in all of Runeterra. Since these animation episodes take more time to make, i support them to go to another story and to deferent characters, and then maybe make them cameos in another series or to make them join in some episodes. Sorta like Marvel style. They confirmed that this is the final chapter of Arcane because they told the story they wanted in Arcane and dont want to drag it out, but that they are already working on other stories on film and TV, and they are gonna announce it after Arcane or by the end of the year, to show us what story they want to cover next. With so many stories and so many diferent characters i am at the edge of my seat...

It’s a type of pact, basically giving information in return for power. 2) Heavenly Pacts occur when a person who’s supposed to be born a sorcerer has something wrong from birth. We’ve seen two examples in S1, Maki (basically zero cursed energy) and Mechamaru (lots of cursed energy but useless body). 3) At the time of this arc I believe the only three special grade sorcerers are Gojo, Geto, and Yuki. 4) Geto’s downfall seems quick but a lot of things contributed to it. Riko’s death, seeing the people clapping for Riko’s dead body, being alone to process his thoughts, his conversation with Yuki, and the final straw of finding the two girls in the village. Have you watched the movie yet? It definitely helps add context to Geto’s character, especially after this arc.
