Blues win 4-0, all 4 goals in last 16 minutes. I was at this game aged 14. Interesting interview with the late Justin Fashanu at the end.

Barry Fry tells it how it is - then Paul Tait proves him wrong with the winner in extra-time, much to the delight of the masses of Blue at Wembley

Up the Blues .
Just watched this today 11/5/24 on the Big Match Revisited and all l can say is that the ref was absolutely sho king and virtually decided the game. When the final whistle goes, you could see a Forest player say something to him, l would have done the same.
I was there KRO
Bit accidental by Viv Anderson on Marc Dennis... but hell... "Thou Shalt not Pass" got some of his own medicine there.
Never realised how biased Hugh Jones commentary was at the time. No credit to the away team when they scored but endless prose whenever Birmingham scored. They were all well taken goals and the commentary should reflect that.
I can remember walking out of the ground, getting on the bus and going "Phew!" as I sat on the seat!!!!
Tony Evans was an underrated player.
what's the name of the commentator? Please

what's the name of the commentator?
Blues have had some great players in the past.. Post 2015 players are very average... The pitch is easier, ball lighter etc.. regards Tony (TF fan plus others of that era)

Fry's a pillock. You're lucky to get rid of him. We still can't get him to bugger off.
what's the name of the commentator?
Their drummer was not the former GG John Weathers? Don't see him in the clip.
A little appreciation must be shown here for Archie Gemmill... what a player. The heart of Cloughie's best teams at Derby and Forest, and still superb here for Brummie.
Of course AG was the business etc few players can compare 2020...regards Tony
True words from Justin Fashanu there. A damn shame Pro's of today won't be that honest. They would get more respect if they were!
brilliant. he got power and curl just right. the best freekick goal from ronaldinho this far.
what a smashing lad, hounded to his death by what you can only describe as pure cunts.
koji kurac?
Interesting, looks like a good spot for filming
No, it's at Birmingham as stated. Rwy33, taken from the A45 Coventry Road.
Isn't that at Liverpool?
The video is of a Concorde's last flight into BHX, which is what I meant. Not it's last ever flight anywhere. :)
Geez, far better than my effort at videoing that! Nice vid.
My first season ever watching Norwich - we ended up going down not surprisingly. Never seen this footage before, so thanks!
Unfortunately not, I was a guest/passenger in the rear seat. I managed to pull my own loops and turns, which was a once in a lifetime ambition for me. Great day.
Ken Brown's comments could well have applied to last season!
I can empathise with that too. Pity really, but I guess life moves on for all of us. Fair play to those that remain addicted to the game and partake though.
There also comes a point when getting your head handed to you while being stomped in yet another low turnout tournament game becomes an exercise in futility and masochism. "Why am I doing this?" being a more frequent thought than "Woohoo!".
No, gave up a few years ago, life, kids, work to blame, but I think I finally just got bored of it too. I still have fond memories of it all though.
Fine and dandy. You still playing AA? I've not been on for ages, good couple of years.
Twas a great day in the Yak, hope all is well for you JJ mate. :)
Rocky! I came on here to see if your vid was on UA-cam, and you didn't disappoint. Cheers, JJ.
thanks mate! KRO
