数ある 安藤作品の中でも これは ベスト3に入るといっても よいのではないだろうか。 敷地を持て余すこともなく 海を望む立地の活用 明確な空間構成 余計な造形的主張も無く 適切でありながら余裕もある。 芸術作品ではなく 環境を活かした実用建築であることが 結果的に高水準な設計に至った…という印象だ。

Your videos are great! I am interested in buildings built by Tadao Ando and Yoshio Taniguchi, and randomly stumbled across your channel. Your videos are quiet/ peaceful and beautiful like the buildings themselves! Your videos showed alot more than what the architecture books can offer, not from a narrative perspective, but from a personal view. Thank you for the efforts of making those videos! <3 Japanese buildings are really beautiful.

Very interesting -- I'm not a big Shoei Yoh fan because some of his projects seem overly "busy", but his creativity is more controlled with this project because of the singular cone-shape. The off-center steel canopy posts are unique. Thank you for the video.

Nikken Sekkei is the equivalent of SOM in the U.S. -- a corporate firm that does very high-quality work. This project was inspired by Corbusier, in particular the Unite d'Habitation in Marseille, but skillfully uses wood as framing infill between the main concrete vertical structure. This wood will eventually weather and turn a grayish color which will match the concrete, like Kahn's Salk Institute.

This building is one of my favorite Ando designs -- the beauty and composition of the forms is conveyed through an absolutely masterful floor plan. Although not shown in the video, the main interior space has a wonderful skylight system above which brings in a unique quality of light. Thank you for the video.

私が韓国の建築学科の学生として深く尊敬する建築家安藤忠雄の作品をこのように詳しく見ることができる機会があるということが信じられません。 誠にありがとうございます. 機会があれば日本に行って安藤忠雄の建築を直接体験してみたいです。 It's hard to believe that, as a Korean architecture student, I have the chance to explore the works of Tadao Ando, an architect I deeply admire, in such detail. I'm truly grateful for this opportunity. If I get the chance, I'd love to travel to Japan and experience his architecture in person.

Fujimori creates these very folksy, almost deliberately "country" style works of architecture. This one is way out there in that regard. It is a bold but powerful statement. And just like other Japanese architects of his generation, he understands the fundamental quality of presence in architecture. Amazing.

Fascinating -- Yusuhara, like Naoshima, are must see destinations for modern architects and students of architecture. This may be the most remote location you have visited -- a tiny mountain town with world-class architecture by Kuma. Kuma-san will win the Pritzker within the next 3 years.

Thank you for this video -- as a result I have much more respect for Fujimori's work than previous. I remember seeing photos of the La Collina bldg. when it was first built in 2015 with the roof yet to be covered in green, and just thought it was another odd Fujimori structure. Now thanks to your video, we can experience this dramatic entry sequence with a "green hill structure". The scale and angle of the roof is very intriguing and the interior detailing is well-done. It feels very peaceful there, set within the countryside, a completely unique experience.

The main community building is brilliant. The flanking 2- story hotel rooms feel a bit out of place, like post-tsunami prefab structures, however overall one can see a high level of skill and ingenuity. Thank you.

So interesting. Ban has done many museums in his career, many of them more progressive and innovative, but this is his best. It's more mature, more composed, more resolved -- this is quite possibly his best work, the hand of a master.

One of the more beautiful sites for a museum in Japan. The architecture is perhaps too controlled and formal, but it is beautiful nonetheless.

很美的紀念館，自然空間和時間仿佛停頓了，有一種內在的安靜

私も建築に携わる者としてこの建物を以下の基準で審査すると 1.200年の耐用年数があるか 2.メンテナンスコストが安価か 3.清掃が簡単にできるか 4.震災の際にガラスが凶器にならないか 5.建物内部の間取りが簡単に変更できるか 6.塩害に対応しているか 実際に建物を細部まで見てないですが、合格点を獲得できるかは非常に厳しい作品でしょうね。 総括すると見た目重視で、映像から見た評価は100点中30点です。管理者から立場から実用性に疑念があり 200年後に建物が存続しているが疑問である。

This building was finished in 1997, but show Tange's strong Metabolist roots from the '60's. Thank you for the video.

Didn't know about this project. I have a lot of his publications, so this is a minor revelation from 1999. Another winner by the GOAT.

Beautiful, this may be your finest cinematographic work. The panning shots in particular are excellent -- well done on this masterful building.

Classic Japanese Post-Metabolist architecture from Atelier Zoo (Dream) using regional motifs in a modern way. It is amazing how well-maintained this project appears after close to 50 years (built in 1975).

いつも興味深く　動画を拝見させて頂いています。　安藤忠雄さんの建築はまさにアート‼　BGMがとてもあっていて凄くいいですね～ 最近、神戸市垂水区塩屋北町に　安藤さんデザインの教会があるのを知りました。まだ行ったことはないのですが　ご存知でしょうか？ Google map上でしか知らないので　教えていただけると（動画に上げていただけると😅）嬉しいです。

いまは実際に体験することができるのですね！ 若い頃、配置ドローイングに惹かれて興味をもち、地形と内部の関係をどうにかして図面から読みとろうとしていたことを思い出します。 大階段の見返し部分は、例えば地中美術館のデ・マリア展示室などに繋がってるんでしょうか？ 住宅として設計されたものがギャラリーになるということがどれだけあるのかわかりませんが、すごいことなんじゃないかと感じました。 ぜひ、実際にうかがってみたいです。
