This suffers from the usual thing when vocalists are poets and not musicians, an inherent lack of understanding of musicality. It also sounds like a worn out erstaz retread of 90s English music, especially vocally, like derivative of Massive Attack or something. Passe, in other words. The emotion also feels forced and shallow in the vocals, superficial and pretentious.
