This is going to sound like a strange idea….but I kind of think there is a supernatural twist to this story. Mimi is very vague about her own personal history other than saying she is visiting her grandmother for a short period of time as well as her love of flowering plants. Linus seems to hear her singing between the time he meets her in the garden and his birthday party. During that particular time period, only he hears her voice, not the others. At the party, nobody else seems to notice Mimi arrive, even Charlie Brown does not see her. While Linus and all the other kids are dressed in modern clothing and listening to modern pop music…Mimi is dressed in early pre WW1 apparel, sings opera, and is traveling in a vintage touring car….of which the driver and other passenger is only seen in shadow form. Once Mimi is gone, her song is not heard again by Linus until he asks Charlie if he will ever hear her song again…to which Woodstock begins to whistle her music. I interpreted this special that Linus was visited by a friendly angelic ghost who may have at one time lived in that garden home many years before. She loved gardening and singing in her earthly past life and left him the flower to pass on her memory to a person in the present who could sense her presence and appreciate it. The vintage touring car was transporting her back to the afterlife once her unfinished business of fulfilling Linus’ wish to see and hear her one more time. Thus Linus didn’t hear her voice once she left. When he asked if he would ever hear her sing again….Woodstock singing was her sign to him that she heard him. Others may see this story in a different way, but as a supernatural ghost encounter….it is quite a story.

Bob the Tomato: She showed love to him by protecting him, even though it was hard. Larry the Cucumber: Yep. Bob the Tomato: Let’s see if Qwerty has a verse for us today. (Qwerty pulls up a verse which reads....) Bob the Tomato: “Be completely humble and gentle. Be patient, bearing with one another in love. Ephesians 4:2” Well, Lauren Thomas, you’re beautiful just the way God made you. Shaggy Rogers: Yes, Lauren, true beauty comes from within. Bob the Tomato: Well, put..
