that looks like a htoel room, packets are more hygenic
I have the exact same lift I bought it 10 years ago leaking in the same spot getting ready to rebuild thanks for this info
I got it done I tried to remove that piston by smacking it off with a wood block and a hammer but I couldn't get it off the so same as you I didn't replace the wiper seal or the O-ring but it's back together and it's not leaking. Yet
Yall quarterback got rocked no more plays for him
Yall ain't beating my TULANE
Most all these old trucks we're never parked inside, paint is basically gone forever.
Majority of these taskforce truck's were ocean green like yours, definitely the most popular color by far......
unleaded $2.45
Right?!?! Where the heck IS this place
@@bobbobby1846 South East Texas!
Looks like it rolled into gas station ⛽️
You said ,56 Ford thats Chevy 3100
Dang... I was staring at the blue one while I was talking.... It is absolutely a chevy.
Good truck
Looks like a good find. Noticed right off the bat though, the hood already has a slight bend to it. Either it needs some hood stiffeners like Derek sells on Vice Grip Garage, or a good donor hood needs to be found for this nice wrecker you've got. Again, awesome truck! 👍
@cwp1alpha yeah, need a new hood...this one has a decent amount of rust on the front... if I don't run across a good doner I'm gona make some stiffener s and let it ride rusty....
Hello, I have watched all your UA-cam videos and your video quality is very good. not SEO your channels and videos. For which your video is not getting good views. If you want to get views on your video then you can contact me. Thanks Imran
Awesome video!!!!
Nice truck you got there. I know of a place where you might be able to get a finned aluminum valve cover to match that intake 😏
@@OffenhauserTV nice....thats on my xmas list 😁
Side note...the first picture he is in #50. That picture was from pre-season...the coach had them wear different numbers to confuse the other teams... I don't think I'm a fan of that tactic.
Awesome, strong and technically competitive
How do you change the wiper seal on this cylinder?
@adambalgobin3956 whitch 1 is the wiper? I'm guessing it's the blue one at 9:00 minutes in the video. It was a pain, to push it on past all the grooves...
Not any that you put on it have one at the top where the shaft is is going into the cylinder you can see it at the top when the cylinder is assembled
@adambalgobin3956 ah, it's under the 'cap' piece that the retainer holds on? I didn't change it because I didn't know how to get the piece off that had all the seals on it. I found out later that it pulls off. Then you can slide the cap piece off the bottom, then u can change the wiper seal on the cap and the o-ring under the other piece.
@@billymonster1969 so then I would have to hit off the piston ?
@adambalgobin3956 yeah, see james' commit below...that'd what he is talking about. It's held on by an o-ring. Should come off with a few wacks.
I feel like the Internet is gonna give this a lotta shit... But off by a 1/2 , mile. That's pretty freaking close..
I liked and subscribed to your channel
I did the same with my 85 F150 4x4. Unfortunately I had my starter fail after about a year and had to pull everything to change out the starter. Haven't had any problems since. I also have a DUI ignition system in too.
@jshoptaw5862 I changed the starter after I did this...it sucked! I bought a small starter, that fits past the header...but I'll probably never have to change it again sence it's a good one that's resistant to heat soak. Tricky to size a starter for a ford 300, ya got to know how many teeth on the flywheel and the distance from the face... I ended up with this one: www.summitracing.com/parts/PWM-9104
@@billymonster1969 the 289 and 302 both use the same starter.
@jshoptaw5862 yes, but the 300 has a choice of 2. Automatic and manual are different plus some 300s had a different tooth count on the flywheel on some manuals...
I think the one I ended up with will also fit the 289 and 302 with 4 speed manual. I know I had to measure the distance to make sure...the auto parts store here was not much help. But no problems since the new install!!
what size plugs did you use for the intake?
2 of the most popular and coolest trucks ever produced the 1967-1972 bump side ford and the roundeye 1973-1980 square body chevy truck❤❤
I miss my old 78. It felt like you were driving a truck.
Good truck
Do you live Americans
I live right down the road from normangee I’ve seen it set there just never thought about stopping it’s awsome to see it go to a good home
At least he turned the carb the correct direction. The other way would feed the front 3 cylinders first
True, but there's no better way to get a smooth peddle action with a short link than backwards. I have had no luck finding a backwards throw carb linkage.
That is a sweet ride

Nice work , and yes that k you for your time posting.. I have.a 300 want to do this too. I'll check now if you posted the new throttle linkage.. seems like there could be a better way.
SO since it’s a compression only cylinder it doesn’t have to have a treaded piston or a pinned piston, so it should be a o-ring retaining style were you just have to pull or hit it to get the o-ring out of its retaining groove. Slide hammer works best in my experience
Must have been where the smaller green seal went that came in the kit. It looks about the size to fit under their, I was scared I would break it pulling it off. The o-ring I had left over from the kit was some size as the one I used. The groove it went in was wide enough to put both in, but that didn't seem right. And only one came out that groove.
@@billymonster1969 you put it together correctly your main seal gets a backing ring witch was the nylon split ring you put in
That piston should have been retained by a o-ring set that locks it in just have to give it afew good wacks to get it to pop off
Good job
Thanks for sharing
I like this
Why bastardise such a rare truck wìth gm shit, dodge built many parts that are better suited to a mopar
So...you're saying no LS swap? They are not exactly making Plymouth frames lately. If I bought an aftermarket frame, it wouldn't be original Plymouth. Brand loyalty is a strange thing to me. By the time I finish cutting and fitting this s10 frame, it will be just as much Plymouth as it is gm so not worried about it at all...
I'm about to build the same thing on a 37 Plymouth pickup. I see a TX flag, whereabouts you located? I'm in DFW, perhaps we can trade ideas...
I'm in orange county, south east Texas.
Cool truck! Don't see many straight sixes fixed up. I got a 66 F100 with a 352 V8 that I just put headers and Purple Hornies glasspacks on. It was a tough job but it was worth it. Sounds fantastic! I had to buy the mini-starter, gear reduction, by Power Master and it only fits one way with a little grinding on block and it is adjustable. It has a solenoid switch on starter like GM and right I'm using both the stock Ford solenoid and the one on the starter. Don't know how long my two-step solenoid set-up is gonna last. And I wanted to tell you I had one of those glass fuel filters break on me while driving. Lucky I didn't burn my truck. That was back in the 80's before the Chinese made Spectre crap showed up."👍 Keep on Truckin"
The hazard switch was factory installed in the glove box in the 1967 to 1972 ford pickups. Not an add on.
Cool, I didn't know that.
That 67 is comin along ! Wow absolutely gorgeous!❤
Beautiful 67 man! Subscribed!❤

Awesome thanks. Can't wait to get it pieced together. I have the headlights too.
I have a tail gate in better shape than that one it's on a old pick up bed trl it's got Plymouth on it
I'm looking for a plymouth tailgate....
