This is the best, thorough, practical and concise explanation of derivation and use of Bezier curves I've found on UA-cam!

It brought me here and made it my second time watching this video (during the first time, I was trying to learn a topic in Computer graphics, and my interest wasn't machine learning then.. Lool). I appreciate this lecture more now!!

I am making a 3d graphics engine that executes some of the rendering pipeline processes on a remote server. On texturing the 3d objects I had done a direct approach of simply taking the percentage moved along y and x in the screen space, then map that to the texture space...which work fine, up until you rotate the cube..thats when I realised I dont know something here😂😂....luckily I pretend to be smart, so I found what I was doing wrong...on solving it now = big problem(for obvious reasons that I pretend to be smart) . So im here @ 11:02 and im loving it so far

You saved my life. Thank you very much. Just one quick question. That letter S of NewTimesRoman may have issue of control points that are not one-to-one matching, i.e. there exists t which has more than one coressponding point. How do we handle that? Maybe we don't increase the degree to keep it in a one equation, but use a number of cubic or quadratic Bezier curves derived from neighborhood points?

I have a question about knots. If there are cubic splines with 5 data points, we'll have 2 curves (5-3=2). Then shouldn't the number of knots be 3-two at both ends and one that joins two curves?

THANKKK YOUUUUUUUUU. Quiet Constructive. There is something that wasn't clear during the video: why is the bezier curve only defined between t2 & t3 ?

This is the teaching I want at my university. Explaining the fundamentals of something is required for understanding the whole thing. Something they tend to forget where I study.

@@webmaster246 as a teacher my self, that highly depends on the teacher. There are good ones and there are bad ones. Most of them do care, but just can't deliver.

can we draw knots such as the trefoil knot with Bezier curves? how can we find control points from a knot projection? I think it is possible but I need to know wether there is a quick easy way?
