Prosthecheas are a wonderful genus to grow. For a species, they really are very giving, vigorous and wonderfully fragrant. 😍HI Suzie Quetie 💐 I could not feed the microfibre along the base of the container. The plate was on too tight and I was scared to snap it which would cause the tray to leak even when I am not moving it. So, note to self, mist every day and every 3 days pour water through from the top down 🙄😑 not ideal, BUT, if it helps the orchid to have its two opposing growth directions in tact for several years, then I am prepared to put up with the inconvenience 🫣 thank you so much for watching! 😍HI Grace! 💐 it is so good to see you! I hope you are doing well 🫶🏼 I have as yet to rummage around in the moss to see if I have any roots that grew. It can take at least 4 months for the roots to develop underneath a moss wrap. What you can also do, is pot it up lower in the pot, if that is possible based on how high the roots are up the stem and the leaf joints. Some of these slippers need to be readjusted in the pot on a regular basis. Once I get some other videos out of the way, I am going to an update on this and post that video. If I did not get any roots, then my not being able to keep the moss damp all the time was the error. My dry climate can cause this little moss wrap to dry out too quickly and I miss the mark. But, if there are no new roots underneath the moss, I am going to cut the fan off and pot it up separately and then see what happens. I hope that this was somewhat helpful?
