For the most part yes. Depending on the desired effect you are trying to achieve with the material. But there are websites you can use to find out how strong the materials are typically dosed at in formulas. Then I go based off of that and memory I remember them smelling based on my previous evaluations. I also record every drop in spreadsheets so I can pinpoint what might have went wrong or right and analogue how they are reacting with each other later down the line

We got a guitar on the Alaskan. It’s nice for steaming to and from town but that’s about it. Still fun to have.

Yes, for alcohol based “fine fragrances” I dilute them with perfumers alcohol. The DPG what I use to dissolve stubborn materials that tend to crystallize in alcohol. I never dilute my finished fragrances with DPG. Maybe if I was making roll on perfumes. But I think in that case you would use fractionated coconut oil

I also pre dilute some materials with them that are way too strong to use at full strength. Where a single drop of a material can ruin an entire fragrance/trial. You can always make a large batch but that costs more money. A good way to save some money when starting out is by using pre diluted materials

Thank you for watching! It is mainly the materials chosen that affects the color. The oakmoss absolute and tobacco were the main culprits. Very dark tar like materials also the Yerba mate absolute was also a forest green goop
