Hang it the right way first you will always see those tape lines
Never mind, is your basement, that's why the window is up there. Yeah, next time, start your layout 16 on center from each corner. Usually from left to right on all walls. Remember, hang ceiling first, then walls next with a horizontal installation.😂😂😂
Sorry, after watching the video the second time, I realized the that window was installed to high. I hope you took care of that matter first!! 😜😜😜
Yes, you can do that! But, start installing them horizontally, cut two pieces to size, it looks like they will reach just fine. The reason is that way you'll have cut offs that you can use in smaller places, instead of long thin strips. Go ahead and finish that room that way. In the next room, make sure you start hanging the ceiling sheetrock first, then do the wall next. The wall sheetrock will help hold the ceiling sheetrock. Now, the 16 on center or 24 on center, is layed out for the exterior material. Also, it's easier to tape your long joints horizontally, rather than using a latter. Don't worry, you're doing great!!! God bless!!😂😂😂🙏🙏🙏
Put the drywall horizontal and cut to size. It gives you more material to be sure to end on a stud.
Seriously hope this dude is not serious. Cut the drywall sheet. SMH. This is guy everything wrong with the country.
“This is guy everything wrong with the country” Hu? Go get nippy with what ever in your life has you that way. Don’t look dumb trying to talk shit, and even more dumb on top of not being able to do it properly.
Bro this is a joke.
90 for sure through the side ....
I feel you...luckily my homedepot is just 2 mi away.. your fix will look better. GL
@Factory_Edge the 90 made it work 100%, flex was nit the right decision. But I would have never known if I didn't fail first.
You could use the flex if you're very careful, but picking up a $5 90 would be better. Measure twice cut once or you will be using the flex anyway. They make a crimper hand tool to recrimp the end of the duct so the 90 goes over it easily. If you don't want to buy it you can use needle nose and it will take longer but work okay . Do yourself a favor and pick up some duct sealant. Fiber reinforced in a tub is best, but they make it for a caulking gun too. Use nitrile gloves. That stuff makes some mess. Duct tape isn't as as foolproof and won't last nearly as long.
Looks great!
@chaseholmes6 thankyou! Little by little it's getting there
Great vid. Had the same question with the fire blocking. I ended up installing osb to the sill plate but it’s a pain in the ass compared to stuffing with rock wool
Thanks for the video! Great job with taking in a question and making a video on it! You earned a sub!
@@CloudiiPanda glad to help
did you have to do fire blocking above the framed walls? or just the spray foam?
@CloudiiPanda great question, and I'll try to film that on the next video. I had to fireblock on the under side of the top frame. For the top I used rock wool to but up to the Frame which will lay over the foam board and over the concrete.
@ awesome! Any idea when that vid will be up?
@CloudiiPanda ill shoot an update in the morning.
@@mikejenofsky 👍 awesome!
Nuts? I see screws. I've never seen nuts on a knife before.
😂the "SOUNDTRACK" is horrendous. Oh thank God😂17:55 it just stopped
Any time you etch or plate you should nail polish three areas where theres metal to metal contacts. Ie. Bearings and washers.
What do i do if the width of my table is bigger? Will it show if I match up pieces?
We all gota go through life with the nuts were given ambiguous as ot may be😂☮️22:16
Any links to the original item you used on Amazon?
I dont have the original link, I just typed in wallpaper peel and stick black wood grain
How should I cover the blunt edges of the table?? Big problem
Are you talking about the corners or the sides
@@mikejenofsky corners
@@UwU_girl69 I cut a small line and over lapped them neatly, wasn't perfect but it worked
@@mikejenofsky I'll also try the same!! And thnkuu ...btw i replied on ur 3yr old vdo and i am glad that uh answered my comment ....
@@UwU_girl69 no problem, it was an awesome project for changing a cubicle up
Cool as F
Yee I’ve always been curious if you can painting a fretboard & never find any videos besides staining/darkening them, how’d this project end up homie? & for stains check out unicorn spit, they make some really cool ones, & I was also thinking as far as painting a fretboard what if you did like a fretless guitar? Like just prime & paint whatever on the fret board & then epoxy resin over it to seal it, something like that could be cool, but tbh I only recently learned about fretless guitar so idk if that’d work for sure, but I can’t see why it wouldn’t
Wonderful°°
I have the same wood grain paper on my desk but like u said it gets cut and scratched. Can we put some sort of clear spray or something to make it more tough and durable?
Epoxy resin, then it's permanent
@@mikejenofsky Thank you
I gotta know, did you find your stopper piece? I know it's three years later... but if you need the specs on that piece, lemme know and I can measure the one I have and try and make you one. 👌🏾🤙🏾
That came out great. Especially for your second try. Keep on keepin on, brother. 🤙🏾
Flyleaf. Brings back memories
It’s been a great video if you ducking said what the solution was.
Distilled water and muriatic acid. Just be careful using this around tools or other metals, it will rust everything around it or close to it, or in the same room. I can't remember but I believe I did a 50/50 mix in glass containers
hi! in what liquid was the blade poisoned
Don’t forget the heat gun to heat vinyl to bring down the edges underneath and then cut and get XL smoother (Circuit). @ Walmart for 8$
Cut out a piece of your copper tube shape it to fit.. Disregard this is an old vid..
your stone wash is amazing tho, big scratches all the way <3
Thank you for your tips.. I am planning to makeover my 28 years old study table. I have got my wallpaper adhesive foil type. Let's see if it works, fingers crossed!
Yeah it definitely makes a change, the finish product is what counts, if you have bubbles it will not look as good
The flyleaf in the background 😂 I remember when that came out
Thats realy cool. The contrast betewen the coper and other stuff is realy cool.
Thanks for the upload. What’s the model of the Helly Tec OTF you have there? Thx👊🏼
Thanks, nice vid. What acid did you use for the copper wash?
Goofy is very good With the kids
I just got a pilar large 5315 at Lowe's for $22 and it came with bearings I have yet to see this configuration anywhere else
That definitely looks like the quality brand from Amazon. I ordered the cheaper Heroad black wood grain wallpaper first and I learned that you get what you pay for. The paper was extremely thin and tore easily, plus had a very dull finish. So I ordered another batch from Abyssaly and what a difference! Much thicker and had texture and a little shine to it (plus a lot easier to work with!
Can you put this on a slightly textured surface and still have it be smooth?
It’s nice seeing a man doing stuff like this!!
I’ve been wanting to change my office desk, but I was skeptical about painting it. I will definitely give this a try
How did it hold up? Would love to copper plate the liners of my knife
Hey.. Are they prone to getting scratches..? I was thinking of doing the same for my desk.. So, I'm a bit confused between these wraps and a normal laminate..
If your cutting on them, running a sharp staple across them, or sitting on them with metal buttons then yes it can scratch at the right angle, but for the most part its pretty strong, and extremely easy to re wrap
My desk has been moved out of the office for renovation, its been sitting out in the warehouse for some time now, ill take a video of it Monday and you can see how it holds up in dirty conditions
@@mikejenofsky oh great.. That would be very helpful.. Thanks for the effort.. ❤️ And, I'm going for wallpaper wraps only, will keep in mind your suggestions to avoid those scratches.. Thanks
one helluva music mix 👍🏼
How to prevent it from lifting or peeling off?
The only place it lifts off or peels is on the very edges where my chair hits it, im sure if I used glue on the seams it would hold. But I had extra strips and just covered them up every now and then, but the top never peeled or bubbles
Love it. Love this knife as well. Has to be the blade. I’m into those tonto type blades
Looks great! Inspires me to modify one or two of my knives. Possible idea for getting a better transfer into the screws: sand the paint off the clip so you have a better contact. Appreciate you sharing this video 👍
