I’m usually not a big fan of shows with a lot of music but Steven universe does it well, not just in placing within the show but the music itself is produced really well, especially in the later seasons. Take stronger than you, it’s the first time we find out garnets a fusion, and the song really does show how the best of ruby and sapphire make garnet who is far stronger than either of them separate, and helps start the plot of jaspers obsession with fusion and her misconception that fusion is only strength leading to things like malachite, whereas with garnet it’s love that makes her and strengths just a side effect

i love steven universe, and these songs give me shivers. i literally cried bc it was so nostalgic
