My favorite church in Québec, glad you enjoyed it. But "Notre Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral" is located in the "old Quebec" and it's the oldest church in Canada ! It also is the only church outside of Europe to have a "Holy door. It's smaller but there's a LOT of gold 😅 . The church you visited is called "Sanctuaire Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré" it's where i was baptized and it's the most stunning piece of art/architecture in quebec (Imo). I Hope you come back to Québec and get to visit the actual Nddq! God bless you 🙏

Thanks I've never seen them from the beach side with the city lights in the background before, we've always sat on the grass, although 😥 we missed them this year because we were moving 😭. However, our new place is on the 10th floor (first apartment I've lived in since the early 1990's, major lifestyle change) with 251° WSW and 207° SSW views from the balcony so we'll have a great view the fireworks next year. P.S. I normally wouldn't be so precise about what direction we're facing but I just downloaded a 3-D Compass app and there's only so much fun/use you can get out of it, so I'm milking it as much as I can 😉

Beautiful I love this place wonderland. I was here on Sunday not the Sunday that just passed. Sunday August 14th I was there. And then I hear after the fireworks a fire happened I saw everything on the news and some guy slashed 18 tire vehicles on the same night. And if you have a car and it happened to you I'm sorry it happened.
