@@KACPER050599 te konkretnie nie, ale udało mi się kupić projektor taki jak AL pod biksenon, lecz z gniazdem H7 - z żarówką H18 działało to znakomicie. Dawno temu testowałem też projektory mini H1 z łatwym montażem w miejsce żarówki H7 - przy stosowaniu w nich żarówek H1 działały zadowalająco, ale trzeba zwrócić uwagę na wysokiej jakości konektory do żarówek (prawidłowo zaciśnięte), przy słabym styku potrafią topić się kostki.

Gdzieś jeszcze czytałem że niektóre soczewki mają ogniskową typowo pod ksenona, stąd też słaby wynik H18

I have absolutely no problems with this retrofitted system. No error on the dashboard in my Alfa 159. I can surely recommend this.

@@GMcarsMAN And i have one more question. How do you fit the projectors inside the headlight, because Alfa has Bosch AL projectors, not Hella 3R. Where must i cut it, can you show this or do you have any video of it ? Thanks for help.

Hi there. I treat these regulations as design requirements (which they are), really. Nobody likes to be dazzled at night, don’t they? No matter the light source, it’s something really unpleasant. The law gives a proven boundary here - up to 2000 lumens for a light source without auto headlamp leveling. Of course, you can install more luminous source and give a promise to everyone out there that you’ll always adjust the beam according to your load conditions. However, with auto leveling, not only does it provide a static alignment at startup, but also accounts for dynamic changes of the vehicle pitch while moving. Manual headlamp leveling gives you 4 discrete levels of pitch, whereas the automatic has way more positions in between to maximize your headlight range without blinding others. I think it goes down simply to empathy: I don’t want to produce glare to others and I expect the same thing towards me. Since I don’t want to retrofit the auto leveling system in my car and still keep this mod/upgrade/restoration roadworthy-like, some rules need to be observed. It’s not just my safety, it’s other’s too. Just because there are bi-LED modules with a zillion lumens, it doesn’t mean you can just throw them in without certain provisions. Cheers from Poland :)

Few things to add: -Hella 3R H7/D2S projectors that you retrofitted have DOT instead of ECE cut off line, I don't know if you realised this (check it out and could you please inform me whether or not DOT cutoff causes any issues to traffic on your side) -You can *actually* use LED without any problem * 64210DWNB Osram night breaker Led are the first one to get *homologation* and become *street* *legal* in Germany with 1500 lumens per bulb. * 65210CW Osram LEDriving HL Gen1 without homologation but 1390 lumens per bulb * 67210CW Osram LEDriving HL Gen2 without homologation but 1250 lumens per bulb * 11972UE2X2 Philips Ultinon Essential LED without homologation but 1700 lumens per bulb * 11972U90CWX2 Philips Ultinon Pro9000 without homologation but 1500 lumens per bulb Only 64210DWNB Osram NBL can be used *legally* in reflector headlight without any glare, but since you have projectors there should not be any problem with any of these. @@AS-tv4cv as far as the cutoff line goes: actually this type is allowed by ECE regulations too (ECE R112: eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:42010X0831(06)&from=EN). Please have a look at this document, especially annex 3. I recently learned that, before I’d thought it’s reserved for DOT just as you say. As for LEDs, the regulation clearly says that regardless of the lumens, LED headlights have to have auto leveling (but with less than 2000 lm headlamp washers are not mandatory). LED bulb retrofits still don’t convince me with the light output, and they are easily detected in case of any inspection :) not to mention that I’m more into warmer side of the light. This Osram LED retrofit is only allowed in Germany for now I think, and it’s only legal for a bunch of new cars, isn’t it? I’m not sure, there’s some document that you have to print and it says it’s for Germany only. But the way that I’d take if I installed LEDs is to put a whole bi-LED lens module instead of some bulbs.
