I rather doubt Sir Van (savant, servant) is mentioning a real estate developer called 'Jeff' who was likely a child or toddler or not even born when this was recorded. But he does mention, among others, slightly more notable figures ---- William Blake & TS Eliot, for example. Like Van the Man, poets. For as another poet (& early proponent of vegetarian thinking) Percy Bysshe Shelley said: "Poets are the unacknowledged legislators of the world.' Rave on, Sir Van, rave on....

Wow,so glad I found this awesome video.Lived in Cliffside Park,N.J. and bought tickets for his concert in'85 or '86.We drove to the capital only to find canceled on the marquee.Was I bummed.Does anyone remember.Well anyway many years later went to The Beacon in N.Y. for his Astral Weeks album tribute tour.But this concert blows my mind how he was so in his prime,definitely better performance in tune with the audience.Thank-you.The Capital was great.So intimate,had 2nd row for Stevie Ray Vaughan,will never forget that one!

This concert was just after the release of my favorite Van Morrison album, "Into the Music." I've seen Van three times much later, but regretted not seeing him when he was touring with his backup band with horns for this album. What a gift to be able to watch this video of a joyous performance of pure, authentic music-making by Van and his band.

Thank You God for video!!! Blues are Universal...from Jazz breeds...it's All Interchangable... Rock n Roll can be a Country song, etc. Artists can criss cross...Let them Evolve. No One wants to be tied up in a box... As a child I Always took each Artist and Appreciated their Individualizim.. Yes I've Always Loved John and Van and had their Albums ... This is Priceless!!!
