Getting to your Gun 0-7
Переглядів 1203 роки тому
(I apologize for poor audio, I live by freeway) This is a class exploring ways to get to your firearm (handgun) under physical threat with in 0-7 yards.. Most civilian physical violent conflicts happen with in 0-7 yards. Here in the US, we have a lot of armed civilians who carry firearms. I noticed when I see civilians & law enforcement train with their fire arms they are usually at the range 1...

Parabéns pelo seu trabalho
thank u brother for making it so practical even the gym vid
thank you mestre. your video change my opinion alot
Well I googled raccoon scat to identify in my backyard and this came up. So here I am.
INteresting, so you is doing a rare thing of use ANGOLA and CLOSE COMBAT, and GINGA. 3 of the most criticized things about capoeira's self defense concepts. Nice to see it. I am not practic, but i stud the possibilit of the capoeira be made as a combat sport and Martial arts. I made a video react-commentary about a fight where the capoeirist lose, and i search many things about how could he dealing with specific situation (solo fight) using only a capoeira. Is interesting video that i made. Could you see and tell me if i have to know more somenthing, or even consider or changeing another somenting? The video that i made is ua-cam.com/video/2gtRLoudTnY/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Felipe
That’s a huge raccoon! Never seen one wear a hat before. Excellent video. 10/10
Wonderful example of core strength and control to maintain freedom of motion and maintain mobility close to the ground. So many arts give up structure for a takedown and so find it difficult to transition back to standing from ground work after a takedown. Good structure is maintained throughout the techniques and so the teacher can move to disengage at anytime, he is never trapped on the ground.I get the feeling capoeira's reputation suffered a lot from people demonstrating the "cool" techniques, this video shows at its heart Capoeira is a very deep and effective martial art. Respect to all.

Capoeira Angola Close Combat

Kinda
Very well explained bro thank you
dude that's amazing, I'm brazilian but i've never had too much interest on capoeira, you shine a new light on capoeira to me. i'll definetly pay closer attention to it . really good video thank you
Mestre, não sei se é correto dizer ''capoeira de angola''. Penso que o correto é ''capoeira angola''. Um abraço.
Great video my friend. You truly get into depth with the way you describe your movements and stances and strikes.
@@CliffSM Cheyenne Amen.
Thank you 🙏🏿
The audio is kinda low tho😭
Listening to this while identifying raccoon scat in my yard. Would you please create one for porcupine scat?

Thx brother for preserving the purpose of it lever /grapple/wrestling/takedown
where are you located for these classes? I would absolutely love to visit and attend one day
I’m based in Alhambra CA..
thank you very much for making this video!
🙏🏿👍🏿 Thanks for watching.☺️
Love the video Great!
This is great. Not many vids show practical side of capoeira especially Angola.
Cool concept.
My guy: you are really very good indeed. I'd like you to think about Henry Armstrong, Joe Frazier and some of the older boxing cats who used forgotten styles which look to my eye very much like Capoeira Angola (specifically!). You can see the breakdown in this link from The Modern Martial Artist. Did I have an "a-ha!" moment? Of course: ua-cam.com/video/kWur8fiInSY/v-deo.html
I seen a lot of Ginga videos..which talk about the foundation. But you the first to talk about using the stance offensively and consider it the foundation. either way it is intriguing.
yah man! I feel you
Wicked!!!!
I came out to this vid and check your channel very great works, love it Respect from Italy
Very Nice. Keep making these practical Capoiera vids.
Capoiera Angolo is that what you teach? Where?
Yes. Sorry for late response. Yes I teach in Alhambra, CA at Granada Park.... no more class for the rest of the year. Class will resume in mid January on Saturdays. 1pm.
Love this!
you could also do ginga to prep for single leg or double leg takedowns. It resembles shadow wrestling
I agree. Ginga great for a grappling
@@CephlonMayngrum yup

We want freedom ✊🏾
The goverment wont give anybody freedom
Hahaha this is so cool to see people dancing to a song I am featured on. Nice work ladies.
I like your movements! Keep up the great work.
Thank you very much. i like what your doing as well. A friend of mines showed a Capoiera de Rua vid of yours. he told me " yo check this dude out you both have a lot in common, yall do the same shit!". When i saw your page I was filled with much joy. I play with weapons & Capoiera Angola, I have a boxing & Muay Thai background, little Krabi-Krabong < Kali also. So I atracted more to the combative aspect. I too explore African warrior arts, & being a dancer I like to use dance with combative intention as a guide. Similar to how our African & indigenous ancestors & cousins do & did. Are you ever i California? Is "HAMA" texas only or are there branches & schools like HEMA?
CheyenneAmen yeah we should collaborate
CheyenneAmen The goal is make HAMA like HEMA. The flagship group is in Texas but we have reps in the UK, Canada, California, and Philly. We are trying to encourage people to start study groups so that we can have a larger community.
Awesome! Where in California are the reps? Im in Los Angeles. I would love to collaborate.
CheyenneAmen I will introduce you. Are you on facebook? Send me an email. austinwarriorarts@gmail.com
