I absolutely love this whole album, there’s not one song I skip, they are all brilliant songs, In my honest opinion this is The Starting Line’s best album 😊

I still remember seeing them at Fest in my little town. I was really pumped to be working the front gate... id still be able to hear em. Well I got to the plaza on time to start my shift... they changed it to me working the stage and that entailed just enjoying the show from the stage.😂 7 seconds played before them. Then lifetime... then hotwater music. If i remember the lineup perfectly.

Not a "hybrid" band? I think just calling them a "Ska" band...or a "Punk" band for that matter...is doing them a great dis-service. A "hybrid" band doesn't do it justice either, "2-Tone"..... ? An albeit short-lived movement but more than just the name of their record label. "They infused ska with punk, homegrown political anxiety with wider issues." (From their web page) The information, interviews and books (Too Much Too Young is well worth picking up) are out there. Had it not been for Punk there wouldn't have been The Specials as we know them. Byers and Hall (formerlly frontman with Coventry Punk band Squad) were both Punks. Do you consider songs like Concrete Jungle, Do The Dog, Stupid MarriageLittle B.... etc Ska tunes? The Punk sound waned as time went by granted, but without it..... Just listen to pre-Punk Ska. Not quite the same is it. Anyway...thanks for the post
