Why can I hear the Battle Bus at the end
Is that a young Jason Merrells?
Nice tp srr thr tein lined 2 og coutsr.
I realise that these comments are very (very!) old but just in case anyone sees this I saw Jimmy Helms live at Bailey's Nightclub in Hanley and he pointed out to us that contrary to common belief it was he that sang "Open a packet of Kellog's Cornflakes" in the TV ad and not Tony Christie. 😀
Announcer = Richard Straker
Strawberry Cheesecake Flavour I LIKE THAT COLGATE FLAVOUR!
Brush Your Teeth With COLGATE COLGATE DENTAL CREAM It Cleans Your Breath (What A Toothpaste) While It Cleans Your Teeth
This must have happened in the year 1992. It serves Mr Mad 😡 Max Hargreaves right for what these Grange Hill boys 👦 👦 🧒 👦 and girls 🧒 👧 🧒 👧 did to his car 🚙. It is series 15. 👍
Back then, whenever this theme tune came on, we absolutely new and nothing got us more excited. Today we can find any music we want, be it young or old, at the touch of our phones/PC's but there isn't this excitement that there was when TOTP came on. I'm glad that I experienced how it was back then.
Cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!
By the sound of it, I think Hugh Dennis voiced the promo.
Air pollutionise your breakfast!.
Goodness from 00:02-00:07! I’m pleased BBC1 doesn’t have this anymore.
She’s fit
Bearing in mind that the BBC don't show adverts, I have memories that this advert was shown on BBC1 & 2?
I like the 1991-2001 idents better, but you got to admire the highbrow feel of this one.
Thank you for this of course too!
I've been searching for ages for this. I was convinced I remember Jimmy Helms doing a Corn Flakes ad but had begun to think I'd imagined it.
Shame they stopped making them.
BBC Watchdog criticised the advertising campaign for the product having had numerous complaints about the advertising slogan 'so hot they're cool', when it was causing burns to children.
Kellogg's Pop Tarts, too hot you learn, Kellogg's Pop Tarts so hot they burn OUCH!
1992? Was it really that long ago? I always thought pop-tarts (and this commercial) came towards the end of the 90s...
The superhero of television!
Today is Monday March 1st 2021 - exactly 30 years since the Radio Times provided ITV and Channel 4 listings.
TV Times aslo provided BBC TV listings in same year

Didnt realise Clare Buckfield was a twin! Also one of the girls is definitely Tina Carter from Eastenders!
Wow. This is CGI!
The very first to appear on UK TV, perhaps even in the world.
@@j0hnf_uk Indeed, generated by custom digital electronics enginered & developed by BBC's own engineering department. Quite state of the art for the era (1979), definitely a first.
"You do not wanna see what they have done in your bathroom." "OH S***!"
Exactly
“So hot they’re cool !”
wait...does it say to kill off pop tarts?
The tune which said, "Anyone without a degree, kindly switch channels now."
😂😂😂
