Inky Distress Stained Background with Gold Accents
I’ve got another Spellbinders 2023 Advent project today. I actually used two different days for this one, Day 10 (the flower) and Day 16 (the sentiment). I added an ink sprayed shape using distress stains (bit.ly/4dGbgLi), and the Fresh Picked Labels die set (bit.ly/3yArTJn). This card is finished off with my favorite (so far) embossing folder, Tile Reflection (bit.ly/3WKmYgP). Another quick but really pretty card with lots of texture and sparkly bits. ✨🥰

I was just scrolling through and saw your video. I am making my butterfly card at the moment. I am trying to decide my sentiment and then will be finished. Like the colors, ive seen people using the craft Breyers and kinda wants me to try that out. I am a newbie. Started card making december of 2023.💜

I've tried doing this recently and sprayed the back of my paper but the foil cracked horribly and ruined it. How can I prevent this from happening?
That can happen with foil cardstock. Use some scraps and try playing with paper and/or cardstock shims. Start with no pressure and then slowly add more paper or cardstock to get a good impression without cracking the foil. This is especially important when using 3D folders because the impressions are so deep. I hope this helps. 😃
