I was almost homeless. $15 for groceries. Manag d to work hard and dig myself out. This is after I had a dog die then my husband died and another dog died all in 6 months time. I don't own a house. I live in an apartment. I pay my rent on time. I've been there 10 years and I still work everyday. In fact the past 2 months I've worked non-stop with only 2 days off. You should work as hard as you can to pay your bills and be responsible.

The defendants pull out $2000 a month to make up for not paying rent. Even if true they would still owe $7000 over 9 months and they haven’t paid utilities at all. Defendants seemed very smug.

Ms Jerome understands the judge much better than her attorney. This attorney has made a mess of this case from the beginning. Procedurally the attorney has made mistakes that cost her client time and money. Given the attitude of Ms Jeromes attorney, it is going to be a rocky road to settlement. It would not be a surprise to learn the retaliation against the tenant is due to the attorneys direction.

WELL now I'm confused!!!JUDGE Simpson seems to know what's going on but he lost me.This is what my experience with insurance has been>everyone gets screwed somehow EXCEPT the insurance CO.So the girl that caused the accident,WHAT about her Insurance Coverage,i missed that,is she insured,was she driving.?HIS cases are usually easier to follow for me.But i trust he'll come to a fair conclusion regardless.

I'm a landlord and I hope I don't have to take my tenants to court for them to keep pushing the days back and continuing to accrued cost out my own pockets. Because the tenants rather spend their money on this and that and not rent

I'm 64, lots of medical issues mostly due to autoimmune disorders. At last count I have 6. One causes a blood problem (hypochromic microcytic anemia: my bones release new blood cells prematurely, makes me short on oxygen and iron stores), and I have 4 rare kidney diseases, as if one just wasn't enough! I've been in pain since I was 6y/o. I learned at a very young age to ignore the pain. Ever had bone pain? Its a deep ache, not even a heat pad helps. I do use hot baths as part of my pain regimen. I also take copious amounts of otc tylenol and ibuprofen with Tylenol#4's with hydroxycholoroquine and gabapentan as part of my pain regimen. I take all those because doctors refuse to manage pain.(I acknowledge this can be extra work on the doctor's part to monitor patients closely. I'm just not one of those patients. Its been difficult to understand the "high'' some people get with pain meds. When I take pain meds I only get sleepy. So that limited me to when I could take a pain pill if I was going to be driving. In my old age, my driving has become very bad and dangerous in more than one way. Early signs of congestive heart failure, in two chambers of my heart. So I stopped driving all together because of an impending heart attack. Of all the things a person could do to give them that euphoric sensation, why would you resort to a drug? I actually hate any drug that messes with me other than dulling the pain. That leads me to my last comment. There is NO such thing as PAINFREE! When I bruised my whole right rib cage and they gave me some fentanyl for the pain. It felt like an ice cold rush. I did not like it, and I was able to get some rest when I got home, but it did not 'kill' the pain completely. But I did sleep good.

Unfortunately, the final resolution of the preliminary exam was not included in this clip. Bottom line: Judge Simpson found probable cause to bind the mother over on charges of 1) child abuse in the second degree, 2) child abuse in the third degrees, and 3) manslaughter. The State has been asking that she be bound over on charges on 1) child abuse in the first degree-as a prerequisite charge for, 2) murder. Judge Simpson said he’d bind her over on those enhanced charges, “In a second,” but that the State had failed to show ANY evidence establishing probable cause that the mother had caused the traumatic brain injuries. The State’s position was, “Well, basically, yeah, we don’t have any evidence that SHE caused the head injuries. But, WHO ELSE COULD IT HAVE BEEN?” And the judge was like, “Anybody.” The State was not ready, or the State overcharged the defendant, or both. Failed both. In this case, a lack of evidence is not evidence.
