Hello! I finally had some time!

whyyyyyyyyyyyy. Anyway I haven't paid attention to tekken because of GGstrive, I can't divide my time for two games

Omg 😭 that is so great to hear! I also thought it was impossible for me to learn a new game since I can’t even learn a new character from tekken which is what I am most familiar with. Yes, learning is always frustrating. Many times i wanted to cry on stream lol! I am still a newbie (skill-level wise) but I am trying! Asking people who know about the game also played an important role in the learning process. Tbf, i think +r (thats an older GG right?) is more difficult than Strive

In these cases it is very important to be patient.

The drunken shade is the reflective move, or was that drunkard shade? I am still getting to know the timing of it though and i keep forgeting that move exists 😭 im also still observing which moves are mostly punishable because different characters have different moves.

Strive has simpler and more restricted combos. 'Close slash' cancels into 'far slash' or 'crouching slash' then into any 'heavy slash' attack. 'Kick' attacks cancel into 'dust' attacks(mostly only 'crouching dust' 'universal far range low attack) actually connects). Any normal attack can also be cancelled into a 'command normals' which are character specific exept for 6P. Any normal cancels into a special move and any move cancels into a super.

@@hiiamkatrina3039 Well there are 10 floors and then a single celestial floor above that. After having a win streak or just more wins than losses you'll go a floor up. The opposite can also happen where you go a floor down when you're losing. This means higher floors have more difficult opponents and getting more wins gets harder. Then there's the transition from floor 10 to the celestial floor. You get put on the celestial floor temporarily for a challenge. Win 5 out of 6 games and you can stay, otherwise back to floor 10. That celestial challenge is the hardest wall you'll face when reaching for the stars. Right now I have a little under 100 hours and it was my first traditional fighting game. Also put 100+ hours into Tekken 7 after playing Guilty Gear Strive a lot. Prior to that I have about 1000 hours across platform fighters (Smash Bros, Rivals of Aether, Slap City). I started with Ky and stuck with him for like 80 hours, so a honest and simple character which really is just a reflection of your current skill is great for learning the game. Also dabbled into Zato (because he's so fucking cool) and Jack-O. Right now I play Sin, because he is everything I want in a character. Feel free to ask any questions you might have!
