This episode was really confusing for me maybe it’s because of the illusions or because of how it was played out

If I’m gonna be honest this was a terrible adaptation of sa2, literally no space colony ark, no sonic shadow look alike confusion, no Eggman announcement, no final rush, and no actually sad and impactful Maria backstory.

Another easter egg is shadow's meteorite having the shape of black dooms eye thing. I was suprised there was no more black doom, theres no way shadows story ends here.

I haven't seen anyone mention this, but when Shadow and Stone were in the crab, Shadow is warching a telenovela, and Shadow seemed interested in Gabriella. I feel like this was a slight nod to the "Shadow loves latinas meme"

Apparently “City Escape” is referenced in the credits, although i for the life of me dont know where it is.

I'm sure there's many more easter eggs, but here's a couple I spotted: 1) When Team Sonic jumps from the helicopter, Sonic does a spin just like Keanu Reeves did in the Point Break skydiving scene. 2) When Super Sonic is trying to hold back the laser cannon beam he says "Can't hold on much longer" which is from the chorus of "Open Your Heart" from SA1. 3) When he becomes Super Shadow, he blocks Sonics punch the same casual way Neo blocks Agent Smith's attack in The Matrix 1.

My personal expectations with Shadow is that we wont see him in Sonic 4, not as a primary character, but instead he will get the Knuckles Series treatment, where he gets his own little series to sort of reinvent himself, maybe introduce Rouge and some of the expanded Sonic roster that might not be ideal for a film debut. Who knows, a Shadow series might lead into a full Shadow film based around the Shadow 05 game centered around his more alien origins and the Black Doom invasion. His apparent death yet certain survival definitely leaves the door open for Shadow to go on a similar soul searching journey that he was going on during the Shadow 05 game.

1 small easter egg you forgot to mention, is the same knock-down animation of sonic falling down to floor as in Opening for Shadow the Hedgehog.

Man the movie seems so cool. I sure hope nobody spoils the end credit scene using only a video thumbnail that everyone can see

When shadow first arrives in Tokyo and is looking around, there is a Chao in Space poster in the background.

At the beggining of the movie, the tails and knuckles holograms were doing the sonic waiting animation and the victory song can be heard from yhe background

Another Easter egg One of the chao animatronics is wearing the “Zamba de amigo” items which is from Sega,the chao is also a PURPLE JESTER looking,A possible NIGHTS reference

I'm still sad there isn't any hidden Big the Cats during the movies Also, if there is a Shadow series, I just want Wade to unintentionally become Shadow's arch enemy just through small inconsequential events, like getting making him drop his taco after coming out of a restaurant, accidentally tripping him as Shadow runs through him playing hockey, and worst of all, calling an old sci-fi movie that Shadow and Maria loved a "cheesy old movie".

In the Knuckles series, the bowling announcers mention that an alien came to earth in 1974. 1974+50=2024. They had to have been talking about Shadow falling to earth 50 years ago, there's no way it's a coincidence

You missed one, in one of the Maria and Shadow scenes Maria is playin on the guitar an acoustic version of Live and Learn

I say this was a great way to have an open ended farewell to Ivo. Jim Carry can finally retire in peace, so no more Eggman. Of if he changes his mind or make some exception, Ivo can be like- “Well cruel world, later ha-Oh, I forgot I swiped this ring off those two.’

I'm sad the biolozard didn't make a proper appearance, the b movie spoof was hilarious though. I understand there wasn't enough time to establish it in the movie but I think it would have made the climax more exciting.

My favorite thing about the metal sonic scene is how perfectly they nailed his look, it looked exactly like the game and i thought they were gonna go more realistic route but nah they stayed true to game design!

You missed the part in the first fight with shadow where they use the same animation from the shadow the hedgehog game where sonic falls in the opening to the game. Also, the gun shadow uses sounds similar to one of the guns in game but pitch shifted.

WHAT THE DUCK?

After Shadow beats up Sonic, Sonic's attempted second wind with Shadow standing over him mirrors the opening cutscene from Shadow the Hedgehog.

During the virtual montage that Eggman and the Professor are using to spend time with each other. There's a reference in the amusement park part of it, the name of that park is called Eggmanland, an area near the end of Sonic Unleashed

This ENTIRE video, you coulda differentiated the two Robotniks by saying "Professor Gerald" instead of "Dr. Robotnik and Dr. Eggman"

I saw the movie over the weekend so I'm not really upset, but that thumbnail is wild. When is the grace period over for spoilers?

It was Gerald that released Shadow, not Dr. Robotnik

Notes. The robot is not e-123 omega, they're the G.U.N robots, which also reappear in the final fight with Super Sonic and Super Shadow. What's worse is in real life there has never been any real merchandise of this robot.

Missed the Chao Soda adverts that displayed on a big screen behind Shadow after he knocked Knuckles aside in Tokyo

I also imagine the new antagonist will be Neo-Metal Sonic from Sonic Heroess which would be interesting to see

Another thing that Shadow knocked Sonic out with the Master Emerald just like how Knuckles did in the intro of Sonic 3 game

Future storyline makes sense considering Amy's hammer in the movie looks very techy

Dude You were supposed to talk about the ending and Easter eggs not summarize the entire movie.

The Super Sonic vs Super Shadow fight is a reference to an episode of Sonic X where Sonic and Shadow both went super and fight each other in amidst of dealing with the enemy of season 3 of that show, the Metarex.

mark my words, eggman will come bak, even if its not jim (sadge)... and will start to mess with timelines and dimensions... even for it to be a way to justify the change of actor

just narrate the whole movie.., why dont you?
