Long Island From Above (Johnny Langton)
What you said in the last few minutes were totally spot on. The videography industry has been intentionally made to be highly complicated and convoluted in order to sell more stuff to enthusiasts, but in reality so much great results can be easily obtained merely by the clever usage of higher-end smartphones…..devices which would embarass most photography and videography lovers, who fear of being seen as amateurish (esp Americans).
Amazing looks👍
Can you shoot video with that app?
wow the nyc skyline is nice!
This was super helpful. Thank you for this video.
How does that lens feel with a neck strap? I have a sling and my right shoulder is killing me by 3 or 4 hours with that lens, I do have it on a DSLR though which adds some extra weight.
what camera do you use with the lens?
I use a Canon EosR the first generation. The two work well together and don’t give me any issues usually
Nice content Johnny, keep up the great content. Subbed.
Thanks so much
Very nature lifestyles
Love your photos man! Keep up the work!
Thanks so much
I tryed the Canon R5 i did not like it. I use a Canon 1Dx and 1DxII i use a canon 300mm F4 L lens with I.S. and a 1.4 Canon L Converter...Keep posting and keep up the good photos!
Thanks for sharing that sounds like a completely perfect setup as well. Whatever you are used to using will definitely get you the best pictures
Thank you i love it so much
I'm glad you like it
Thanks, Johnny, very nice honest presentation of how it really is out there. I'm also very new to wildlife photography, but I'm at the other end of the scale which is retirement, not from life mind you just work. Yes , I feel so blessed to having an abundance of birds around our half acre property in Australia and even kangaroos coming in real close as well as bandicoots running around my backyard. I recently invested in a mirrorless camera which is absolutely brilliant but the skill and patience lies with the artist /photographer. I always get some okay shots, but my downfall is my editing skills in LRC & Ps are somewhat lacking. I do struggle and it does take me hours to figure out some basic things. I also watch endless amounts of U-Tube videos which does help sometimes, but I still much prefer to just be out in the fresh air & shoot. Keep up the good work, you've got what it takes.👍😊
Thanks so much for the kind words ill make sure to post a video showing how I like to edit my photos hopefully it will be of great help to you.
I really try to photograph wildlife naturally but sometimes you just can't pass up a great opportunity. A few weeks ago I was out at the marsh and walked past at bench with a chipmunk eating a nut someone was feeding them with. I was able to crouch down and get a photo from 3 ft away.
old roll is nice too
Best Super 8 app is 8mm Vintage Camera
Where is All American in Massapequa? lol A bird eye on that burger would be nice :)
Its hard to see but at 1:09 it is in the bottom right corner.
What a horseshit video this was
I've been using "645 PRO" and recently bought "Filmroll".
Nomo has $hit customer service. I purchased a few of the individual cameras when the app first came out. They then went to their subscription service and I lost them all. $24 a year is ridiculous for something you can get from other apps.
Well, it’s an app. I think it’s ridiculous to expect any customer service when you pay to use an app. They have no incentive to provide customer service. If they start losing enough customers they’ll close the company that makes and publishes one app and start another app with a different gimmick. That is a problem with any transient companies which is the same way in Amazon when you see nonsensical “brands.” An individual can create a “company” and sell a product identical to 100 other products except with a different “brand name” and different packaging. All these micro companies go through the same factory and the same seller (Amazon). Same way with apps when the developers can just leave one company and start another.
Super16mm app is better as hell than Nomo
What do you guys think about the "Pro ccd" cam app?
@@rolf2825 that for video only though.
@@chilledm.136 meh. It’s okay, not great. After all this time, Hipstamatic is still the king. For now…
Which one do you think is better to get that vintage and nostalgic scene of 80's 90's With grain and degrade colors
I love them both in different ways for outdoors maybe like some 90s skateboarding film shots. But 80s arcade vibes is also amazing.
Ebay sellers take the risk. When they buy from garage sales, goodwill etc.. its a gamble. Especially from Goodwill online. Ive ordered from them dozens of times, more than half the time the cameras dont work, or the lenses are full of fungus or scratches or dented filter threads. Ebay sellers ( the good ones like me) fix them, clean them, basically restore them. So its a lot of work. You also have to take into consideration that ebay after all fees etc basically takes 30%. So if you buy a camera for 100, which the seller bought for 20, without knowing if it works, is not all that profitable. Not all sellers including my self mention that we repair or restore them, because buyers when they hear restored, they get scared (unless seller is certified). Trust me, when you see an Ebay seller that only specializes in camera gear, they are also restoring them to working condition... well, the good ones at least. You got yourself a great deal for that camera. Ive thrown away many of those olympus stylus, sometimes theyre not repairable, not even good for parts.
I wish I had more cameras in the nomo cam, but unfortunately I can't afford the pro version
Start saving because they’re so fun to use 😁
