Nice, I did a similar build for most of the DLC bosses. Extremely fun. I worked in a few other tools I thought were still thematic enough (smithscript knives - shurikens, perfume - firecrackers, martial arts).

I’ve beat him pre patch and post patch, and the nerfs are fair and valid. The fight is still crazy hard regardless.

meteor clones was an unnecessary change imo, running away already consistently avoided it.

Good to know I wasn't the only one getting clipped rolling from the clones, I genuinely could not figure out how I was expected to get out of the way

How do you get 100% physical block on the katana?

Now I'm going to ask like a noob, But how come he doesn't take damage when he blocks with the weapon? Is it the timing or something else?

I saw on twitter that they removed the clone attacks and I was really bummed that he was overnerfed, but it seems I was lied to. this is actually a really good set of nerfs. doesn't trivialize the boss at all. tbh I thought he was an S tier boss beforehand, and now? he might be a top 5 of all time
