Plastic hinge breaks apart eventually like mine did... Bought new in 2006. Now I have to drill holes to screw or rivet cupboard hinges or a piano hinge on both halves of clamshell... or I can cheap out fix with duct tape or zip ties.

Whaat? For me, i can smell the grapefruit and citrus (mandarin orange) and it smells citrusy, fresh and sweet. Maybe you got a fake?

Plastic has way too many chemicals in it. Stick to ceramic or steel. (Those plastic trays convenience food come in have cancer causing chemicals in too, so empty food out of it before you cook it).
