Escape the Delhi Smog: A Birding Adventure at Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary
In this vlog, I take you on a birding trip to the Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary, a fantastic escape from the pollution of Delhi. We had an amazing time spotting local birds and were mesmerized by the incredible show put on by the pied kingfisher.
Surprisingly, the migratory birds were absent during our December visit, but we were thrilled to spot a lone flamingo in a nearby water body. We felt a pang of sadness for the missing flock, but were still overjoyed to see this beautiful creature.
The trip was truly rejuvenating, proving that a peaceful getaway from the city is easily accessible. If you're looking to escape the Delhi smog and reconnect with nature, the Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary is the perfect destination.
