In 2006 we bought a pleasure yacht (a Boarncruiser 1000S) to sail around The Netherlands. We gave it the name “Mister Bojangles” as it is an unique name. In 2018 we had to decide to sell her as we moved to the UK but…… in 2023 we are back sailing.
We are now the proud and lucky owners of an ABIM 128 Classic Exclusive are you are welcome to join us on our journeys through The Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany.

Moving on to the East heading a town called Heerenveen. It is one long channel called "Angels waterway". Many years ago (80s/90s/00s) this was a popular place for older retired skippers who moored up all summer to avoid costs of being in a marina. The main artery in the North of the Netherlands is the Princes Margriet Channel that runs from Lemmer (near the IJsselmeer) to Groningen in the North. This channel is being used by larger cargo ships but also sailing vessels and yachts like us. It can be very busy, especially in the Summer time which sometimes leads to accidents between cargo ships and recreational boats. www.misterbojangles.co...

Today we did a tour through the nature park The Alde Feanen. Feanen means is Frisian "peet". 100 years ago the dug up peet to warm up the houses in the winter. Now it is full of nature and the little village on the edge is a popular holiday camping site. #friesland #Sailing #boat
