I live in cheshunt, I’ve oddly never seen this any local pubs. McMullen and Hertford brewery have a monopoly so it’s hard to find any other ales besides Mcmullens which are iffy.

They're all pretty vile.

The trouble with this format is that by guessing which beers they are, you bring in any previous bias you had about that beer, which country it's from etc.

Did you manage to bring the carbonation level back with the sugar addition?

Peroni the only one brewed in its country of origin. Uses soft water unlike many of the british brewed lagers and only uses maize as its adjunct ingredient unlike glucose and corn etc which is less in your face sweet. Gets a bad rep as its usually overpriced on tap in fancy bars full of cokeheads but is actually a quality macro lager

Out of curiosity, have you ever brewed a beer recipe in the pinter that is designed for say a Mr. Beer or Brew Demon? As the Fresh Press kits are about 1k and a 2 gallon recipe of Oktoberfest from Mr. Beer is 850g, that doesn't appear to be really that much of a difference. I imagine these two gallon kits would brew well in the Pinter!

Great video. I’m a carlesberg drinker too. It’s definitely underrated now it’s the pilsner. Nice and refreshing drink when it’s ice cold.

Absolutely loving that you're speedrunning the whole malt whisky experience, from a two years ago ago with Indian whisky, then a year ago with straightforward single malts and blends to now looking at cask strength distillery expressions, which took me about 20 years to get to. Do feel free to add much more water - I'd be trying at cask strength, then adding 5-10ml of water for a second tasting to give it time to soften and reveal it's depths, although I'd leave the water in the glass longer to integrate. As a smokehead, Meikle Tòir is worth a look (peated GlenAllachie) and their "the sherry one" may well meet your needs in terms of cask finish, although it's much younger than Bunna are able to produce.

Really wish I liked whiskey but makes me shudder it's so horrendous. Even tried the really good stuff. Just not a spirits person I suppose! Will always watch a video with my favourite UA-cam celeb though. Great stuff mate!

Hi from Italy! I love tennent's Super, but the fact Is, i dont even know why.... The only original tennents that resamble the Super is the Strong Ale i tasted in the brewery in Glasgow..

The silly thing is, I always get asked for ID when I try to buy alcohol free beers. The whole point is it doesn't contain any alcohol. Coriander is the devil in my opinion, why on earth would you put it in beer? That's the last flavour I want when driving beer!!!!!!!!😮

Milder beers definitely taste better, the sweetness of strong beers makes me get milder ones. The Kingfisher Ultra tastes so much better than the Ultra max.

I do like Hop House 13. And of course, Pilsner Urquell. Budvar, not so much. It's got flavour, but not my fave. I like a bit of bitterness and dryness.

Strange how people's tastes differ. The only one of those beers I've liked is the Brooklyn. The Tennants and the San Miguel went straight down the sink. In fairness, I'm not a fan of lagers.

Well the London pilsner mild one reminds me of a Canadian molson beer and it has been my favourite since ages don't like the strong one though cheers mate nice review.❤

No surprise, indeed. The best version of JD on the market at the moment is their bottled in bond - it's 50%, aged 5 years and delivers their signature flavour better than anything in their line up, which is funny when the Sinatra edition is three times the price and nowhere near as good as the bonded version.

I was desperately looking for this beer in the wine shops in India..... I want to try this beer atleast once in my lifetime.

10 days brewing might have made it a bit more dry and higher abv.
