the way i get past not knowing what to draw is to simply start, but be intentional (even if you scribble) but make sure there is intention in it. It doesn't have to look like anything it could just be color or shapes. And usually I enjoy what comes out of it because I just keep adding and adding until your done but that's just what I do.
