There are lots of lovely generalities but no facts. How many individuals and families were served in 2020? How much did it cost? You placed homeless in the Red Lion and they ended up with covid then they started a fire. How much did that cost the taxpayer. Affordable housing is unattainable when the property taxes rise and rents increase. One issue that you barely touched on is why do families end up homeless? One reason is they need financial skills. They don't have bank accounts and so everything is cash and it goes on frivolous stuff. Give them skills to handle money. Really worthless generalities.

It’s now Christmas Day. St Lukes has gone from 136 Covid patients on the date of this recording to 76 today. About HALF. Nemerson at 18:00 claims hospital census will DOUBLE by Christmas without ‘radical’ new restrictions. The restrictions were voted down. All the mayor did was create a snitch line. As a resident of Boise I can say there’s only been more activity among the population due to the holidays. Are we now entitled to a follow up with these experts to learn why their predictions were so far off, without their punitive restrictions? We are owed an explanation.

Someone in the Idaho atheists group posted a picture of the same flyer but found in utah, which seems to confirm that it's the result of 4chan trolls and not actual nazis. Kids looking to get attention. Fake hate crimes are fairly common. This past summer at a Trump rally in Boise, a person first filmed with a group of 'anti trump' protestors (a democrat) very briefly unfurled a large nazi flag and waved it while standing in the same picture frame as the people carrying Trump signs. This was shared all over the internet for days. Republicans were now associated with a flag-waiving nazi. This was very disturbing to the Boise republicans, and a young local woman went to a lot of trouble to review loads of video and film evidence to figure out who this phony nazi was. She posted fairly clear pictures of this phony 'nazi'. Perhaps that same person was involved in this recent vandalism. Nothing came of it last summer, I suppose because it was a deception involving shaming republicans. In any case, the mayor seems to be using this event as an opportunity to look like a stoic leader. Has anyone looked into this as a fake hate crime?

Address that this IS the reality in Idaho. Boise is more “progressive” than anywhere in Idaho but Idaho is still very white and very racist. It’s time for a look in the mirror to demand reform in areas that enable these hate groups.

At 18:00 Nemerson predicts that we are 'two weeks away' (sounds familiar) from a big jump in hospitalizations to reflect the heavy increase in cases. We are now 11 days post this meeting, and it appears to me from the St Lukes covid reporting, non-covid patient load has dropped from 551 to 469 (over 100 LESS). Covid patients are up about 15 patients. So there hasn't been an increase at St Lukes. There is a drop. He advised that patient load will double by Christmas and triple by end of January which then becomes unmanageable. Trust there will be a followup.

Time for our progressive mayor to impose a mask mandate for inside the bedroom. With advanced drone technology, we can easily enforce this!

Hospitalizations have been stable now for 8 days and falling off a bit over the last 2 days. St Lukes has 130 Covid patients statewide, not too much change since August when it was around 80. Please present a comparison to show the current situation one year ago. The closure of schools over 135 people in a hospital bed in a state with 83,000 squire miles of landmass is beyond negligent. What is the plan Mayor if the current trend of manageable covid numbers remains?

Not clear on how Odette & Peterman claim that staff who are in hospital all day, and get Covid, are known to be getting it outside the hospital. How is this pinpointing of transmission point being done? It's also interesting that they don't suggest Vitamin D which is a known benefit. On masks I have no reason to doubt what they say other than the fact that California is probably the most extreme mask-compliant place on earth. Indoors and out you can't find anyone w/out mask. They still have Covid, quite a bit of spread now. In fact masks don't seem to change outcomes (I wish they did). Probably other factors are involved. There are also doctors who suggest that masks are counterproductive because people wear any old filthy rag which then causes respiratory problems. Perhaps we could advance based on changes in that regard. Not to mention that there are countries in the world where masks are widely not worn, and they suffer no consequences. It's also inserting that Peru has the most severely policed mask laws and they also have the worst Covid. It really doesn't seem like, with all due respect, these professionals look beyond a limited region on what we can do as a community.

It is entirely within the city's legal rights to deny the placement of any cell tower if the applicant can't prove that there is a significant gap in coverage. Where are the applicant's propagation studies? It states in your own Boise Development code that a propagation study is required, yet your P&Z staff have approved hundreds of applications without this required documentation. How is this protecting the residents?

Eagle city Council gave us a whole hour to educate them on 5G. They are implementing proper code as I write this. . Harrison Idaho asked our group to come in and educate them on what they can and can't do. If other cities are doing the right thing to protect the safe enjoyment of streets and neighborhoods, why can't boise. Can we have a meeting?
