Gary Moore was so under appreciated!! I had the pleasure of seeing him live in London 18months before he died and he was great (couldn't see much as was packed out and I was near the back but his playing was phenomenal!) I've loved his music since I first heard him back in 1992 and I thought he was one of the GREATEST guitarists of all time ever since! How he's not more appreciated I don't know! Maybe he was a bit hard to get along with or maybe his peers had an element of jealousy over his gift but nevertheless he WAS GREAT! And played with the Greats like BB King, Albert King and others, who wouldn't just play with anyone.. Parisienne Walkways is just Genius! This song is haunting and LITERALLY tells the story of his own demise, in that hotel room in Spain! (That's chilling to think about) God Bless and RIP Gary Moore you are and alway will be loved admired and respected for your VIRTUOSITY by great guitarists and music fans alike! There's a whole new wave of young guitarists and coupe of virtuosos who you are a massive influence for like young Taj Farrant! He's the next GREAT guitarist already at just 13 years old having played with Santana Orianthi and many others at just 10 years old! ... He states you are one of his 3 major influences! (As does Orianthi also say the same!) THAT'S YOUR LEGACY that will LIVE ON Gary Moore! 👍🎸😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧
