FILM MUSIC:
Unreleased and rare film scores. All videos contain music not released commercially on CD. Most pieces of music are ripped from the movies' actual soundtrack and sound effects and dialogue (if present) are removed as much as possible. If it is discovered that a film score has been issued on CD/digitally, the music video will be deleted. The music runs from the Golden Age of the 1940s through the present time and comes from American, British, Czech-Slovak, French, Polish, Swedish and Russian films (and every country in-between).
CLASSICAL MUSIC:
Radio broadcast works and rare recordings. Virtually all the videos are recordings from radio and a great many are the only known performances of a given work. Less often, you will discover live recordings and the odd, very rare and long out-of-print LP. As with the film music videos, I do not share music from CDs on the channel.

A superb series - thanks for sharing this theme!
Hi, where did you find this music track? Its not a rip from the film, right? Is it ever been released? Great movie btw
A very elegant soundtrack!!! Very hard to find! "I found a dream!"
Yes, and I also concur...albeit 6 years later.
The sudden entrance of 'Sumer Is Icumen In' after the scherzo is a magical moment. Now I invite you to listen to the 4th Symphony by comparison, composed barely 2 years earlier. Thank you, Mr Stuart, for making so much rare and obscure music available to us.
Yes and I concur most whole heartedly with that chap below (or above). You, sir, are a You Tube hero! 3,000+ videos of rare and obscure largely British music by composers whose work deserves greater recognition. So I, too, shout THANK YOU!
I recommend people listen to his 4th Symphony...then stop for a cup of tea...then listen to his 5th Symphony. They could, superficially, be by totally different composers. As Mr Burgess observes elsewhere here, it is a crying shame there are not more professionally performed commercial recordings of his work along with pieces by Gordon Crosse, Humphrey Searle and Elizabeth Lutyens. Anyway, thank you for making this (and so many other obscure 20th century British works) available for us to enjoy. You provide a most valuable service.
I just got back from London where I toured Olympic Studios - where this score was recorded!
The scene where they run down the hill hand in hand is the most romantic scene ever in a movie.
Wonderful to hear this music again. I especially love the violin solo. Very difficult to hunt down. Love to have the whole album.
Ty for full pieces of music.
I'm trying to find a way of watching this movie or somehow buy a DVD and couldn't find it.
Ah, Mr Stuart - I've chosen this video to write my comment but indeed I could have selected any one of a couple of dozen videos I've watched over the past 4 months to say THANK YOU for your tireless generosity in uploading so many obscure works, particularly by modern British composers, that have yet to receive (and probably never will receive) proper studio recordings for release on CD. You've given me the opportunity to investigate further Humphrey Searle, Peter Racine Fricker, Malcolm Arnold, Gordon Jacob and so on and so forth. Robert Simpson and Humphrey Searle are my 2 favourite composers but while Simpson was treated splendidly by Hyperion Records, alas poor Humphrey has yet to receive similar recognition, probably due to the musical idiom he usually (but not always) employs. So, once again: THANK YOU for making so much interesting and occasionally wonderful musical works available to a wider public.
Lovely series. No swearing sex or violence.
Pribeh je o priesecniku niekolkych postav: zivotom zuslachteneho stareho a dobreho knaza, rozhodneho mladeho slovenskeho povstaleckeho velitela a asi rovnako stareho nemeckeho velitela, ktory musel nekoho potrestat za zabitie nemeckej hliadky. Polemika medzi knazom a slovenskym velitelom prerastla z ostreho ale dobre argumentovaneho sporu na obidvoch stranach do porozumenia a nakoniec aj vzajomneho respektu medzi knazom a slovenskym velitelom. Po zbytocnom nasilnom cine jedneho z obyvatelov dediny vsak film rychlo nadobuda rozmer antickej tragedie.
I am listening to this music my eyes become wet. National Anthem of Pakistan
Thanks a lot

That's great. Tell them I love their score! If they are still with you, please ask how they came to score The Human Factor. Thx
@@jamesstuart5904 That is a bit of a long story, but it's pretty awesome. Maybe i can put you in touch with them.
Great
Sir Arthur Bliss a great composer of dramatic music in the British style.
A great anging theme tune. I was just 2 then. 😊
Anyone got lyrics to this? Some of it I can't quite make out
It is a shame only 11 thumbs up for this. Rubbra’s symphonies recorded by Hickok and BBCNOW are filling a gap in the market. This symphony is challenging as it continues Rubbra’s lack of interest in classical forms to define the symphony but uses the material to define the form. He was considered and compared against Tippett in the Pelican guide to the Symphony. Neither composer was really understood and both castigated, Tippett for not travelling through all the keys and Rubbra for not slavishly following the forms used in the Germanic tradition and first established in Mannheim and writing lengthy madrigalian music. Robert Simpson’s editorial stance has much to be wary of.
Сейчас эта музыка стала ближе к нашему тревожному времени!
The baritone sax here was played by jazz legend Gerry Mulligan
😊
Tune in next week same time for another film🎬

Was this issued on a commercial record?. At the time Dankworth recorded for Fontana, a division of Philips.
