@owlssayhooot Just so you know. People DO write fanfiction about us. Do you know how often people think I'm ~sexually with my best friend? Yeah, every single day. I get being uncomfortable. That totally makes sense, but if they don't like it they don't have to read it, and they don't. However, we have interacted with several different youtubers, a lot of them have no problem with the slash at all. Some of them even enjoy it. I've never seen anything written about you.

@owlssayhooot I would LOVE if people wrote fanfiction about me, are you kidding? ESPECIALLY if they were strangers. I wouldn't be weirded out by it at all, but then again, I write what I write. I get where you're coming from, but I still don't think it's right for people to bash us for doing what we do.

Yeah I'm with Kayley. I think it is uncomfortable for the people featured within the fan fiction, particularly when it's sexual. Of course they know you know it's fiction but I'm sure they'd prefer that you used a character you made up, or even used a different name for a character based on someone you know. I don't think the acknowledgement that it's fictional makes it automatically okay.
