Garmin VIRB Ultra 30 Timelapse and Travelapse settings for cycling
Переглядів 8855 років тому
In this video I compare 3 different time-lapse and travelapse settings on the Garmin VIRB Ultra 30 to see which footage I prefer. I tend to lean towards the travelapse setting, it looks smoother than the time-lapse samples. I only wish I could take more frequent intervals; .01 miles is as low as it will go. Pikas squeaking. How I miss that. Love this mountain! Every video provides fun, educates and potentially saves lives. Thank you.
So sad to see the statium go I just did a video on the Pontiac Silverdome History

How to change duration of all photos at once when making travelapse/timelapse video with virb edit? Thanks
I and my family have camped several times down on Parched Corn Creek. Outstanding area, if a bit overused, like much of the Gorge is now.
It's changed quite a bit. New windows installed, to-be open for occupancy in the fall of 2020. New micro brewery, etc.
George Landreman Yup, looking forward to the brewery opening!
No one seems to know about the chimney gully.
so much incredible history there. Thanks for sharing.
Freaking beautiful.
Nice shots. Not just another self-amusing talking head video of one's summit. Nice job.

It must be so much fun doing 40+mph down those hills. Just picked up this camera for my cycling commutes. The G-metrix sold me.
Minus the heart rate, is the rest of the data built in to the camera or did you need to purchase external sensors? Thanks
I get the message my clips are corrupted in VIRB edit for my Ultra 30, gotta talk with Garmin...........
I am interested in what your frame rate is. My guess is it's at least 60FPS
I think it was only 30. It was my first video and I didn't mess with the settings much. I have newer videos on my other channel that are at 60fps and noticeably better. It may not be as noticeable on UA-cam, but the original looks a lot better. ua-cam.com/channels/PyzVAaqakOqrg6fS067LJw.html
Where I really noticed a difference was trail running with lots of bouncing. At 24 and 30 FPS the video was really jumpy and poor quality. I set it at 72 FPS and it was much better. Possibly road running a person could set it at 60 and maybe 30 FPS.
Good video. What bike you cruising on
Thanks! Cannondale CAAD10
Hi - how did you have the camera mounted - on the bars, not on a helmet? Thanks.
It's a K-Edge handlebar mount
nice ride, how did you measure the Watts?
Lothar Wieland Powertap power meter
Many Thanks.
What heart rate monitor are you using? I was surprised to see heart rate displayed. I have an old monitor using ANT+ I might try for something different.
I have an ANT+ optical HR monitor. The Garmin Virb supports ANT+ devices so whatever one you have should work.
wich Frame rate u se, cause not stablization, next use 60fps
Hi, was this in the case?
Was stabilization turned on for this video?
Good question. I think it probably was but I can't remember for sure.
Jason Clishe I would have hoped the answer was "off". The top of the image seemed jittery
NICE! Every time I have been down Mitchell the road was wet or had wet spots. Had to exercise some discretion.
That was nuts JC! Glad a car wasn't coming...
I'll miss you Tiger Stadium...Thanks for the video Clishe
