How many display units do you have?

The NZ/Australian produced Fisher and Paykel machines are by far one of my favourites. No fuss, decent wash action and the 1000 RPM final spin speed for a top loader is perfect. I've got a new 9KG base model Fisher and Paykel front loader that was madè after Haier took them over and I can tell the quality is no longer there. The control panel fascia is loose in places and the paint is awfully thin.

Do you remember the fisher and paykel gw612 you filmed in 2018? Well my grandmother has this exact same machine made in may 2005 eith 14 years of use because her daughter's family loved with her snd when she came back from Australia after her husband having a job there she wanted her bosch in there so in april 2020 it got put in there and then in lock down the gw went to her husband's parent's house snd now its back because they are moving out and they are putting the gw back in but i have to clean it first and when i came back i was excited to see the manufacturer date

I actually bought one of these brand new from a laundromat that was going out of business. They had it in their warehouse and had over ordered for their floor plan. It’s part of my 12 washer collection that I have in my “museum.” I insisted in our new house there would be enough space to build a room a room to have room to dedicate to my collection.

You can use a magnet to bypass the lid switch to the washer.

I don’t get the speed queen hype.

On a kind of Machine like that, there is a way to run it with the Lid open.

Of course you do t run it with the lid open

Love those classic NZ made machines. They certainly made them to last back then. I had a MW512 and it went for years without needing anything done to it.

Speed queen Coin operated washers dont fill with the lid open

For those of you who dont know how to bypass the lid switch, feel to the right underside of the machine and then you should feel a metal lever, pushing and holding it allows you to watch it with the lid open from the side

Were you like me where you used to not use speed queen washers until you know how to bypass the lid switch?

Fills with the lid open and im starting to like speed queen washer now that i know how to bypass the lid switch

That is a quietest agitation I have ever heard 😮

This machine appears to do a great job cleaning clothes. The only thing I notice is that the tub appears small.

This machine has great agitation of any macine that i have seen. My neighbor has the Fisher Paykal like this one. No complaints.

The agitator drive looks interesting, i wonder how the variable angle of sweep is achieved.
