Wow, what a find,I’m definitely going to the next gig!
I swear, dude is a mad scientist if I’ve ever seen one
I love Sam ❤
And sorry that it was my wish … he just asked for a song not for a good song ;)
when he started singing and tried 5 different keys at once that was bad and then the bass kicks in in a whole different key again its like hanging around in studio having fun playing around with some loops and stuff and then going home without anything real being produced but paying for it and gathering a crowd for it its kinda weird innit i mean i know him he is very talented but this kind of live performances i dont get
key word: "tries" LOL this guy is madness <3
wrong key totally but hey!
Genuinely nice bloke too I met him in Ramsgate, UK at This Museum Is Not Obsolete and he was talking to me while soldering something or other. Museum is crazy too if you've not been you definitely should.
That was fun! Thanks for sharing that vid
I phone sucks.
It has more DAWs and AUv3 plugins than your phone 😊
He is true artist. 👍
This guy is awesome haha
When he's asking if it's 16 or 32, is he talking about timing steps? If so, why is it 32 and not 16? (1,3,5,7,9,11,13,14)? I have to admit, I want it to be 16 *and* to have the guy he was lecturing about confidence turn out to be David Ball.
(though, if you wanted to play all of the pats, I think it's 48, as the song seems to me to be in 6/8 time.)
Put him in a good studio and he'd produce the best versions of classic songs from the 80's and 90's
Is this what music has been reduced to? Fucking hell, Mozart was writing operas at aged 12.
hi! i know this probably just isn't your type of music and that is totally okay (i like mozart too!), but the device he is running is called an analogue synthesizer, and it predates modern micro-controllers and modern synths. its more like a giant oscilloscope and waveform generator with a built in keyboard. it takes a tremendous amount of technical knowledge to work with one of these, not to mention the multiple other instruments and musical creations he has made on his channel. there is still considerable technical aptitude and ability involved in what you are seeing here, it's just different from the type of music you're referencing, and unlike most music we here is being done live on the fly with no pre-tuned reference ranges. that's one of the reasons he was asking for chords and step counts.
Mozart was a prodigy that stands as one of the most well known musicians of all time, and probably always will. This guy is not going to compare to Mozart, but neither is whoever your favourite modern artist is. Cut him some slack, either enjoy what he's able to create or just listen to someone else.
Mozart didn't build any of the instruments he used/wrote for. This guy is an electrician, musician, vocalist, songwriter, editor, producer the list goes on.

Bet Mozart (or you probably) couldn’t build his own VCOs and the like and operate them live. Could you even get a note out of that system.
Meh
cringe low quality unpolished nothingness. like a kids school project
Funny that you expect polish when the song is suggested by the audience and he does it on the fly
you described your own comment.
You are watching a song performed completely live on a machine that the artist built themselves with zero rehearsal that they've never performed before. I wouldn't have a clue where to start with that instrument.
@@CESmith not all things are equal.
@@thirdguy4589 each to their own. i prefer my music to be spontaneous, usually has more pizzazz then. gets a bit boring when everythings perfectly edited and mastered to be bland, repetitive, and "radio friendly". noy a fan of the song, and at times he loses it completely, but its different... new... yet not... and theres far more here than in any studio released hit of "tay tays". if you can do better on a machine you made yourself on the fly, then we are all awaiting your contribution to our enjoyment of this existence we call "life".
Cool that he could quickly have something if not rushed but even so gets close when rushed.
He’s so funny. Thanks for sharing.
He didn`t try he made it better !
Come on...
Love this
i´ve been there. That was so funny! Thanks a lot for uploading!
