Had two new ones. 1978 and a 1982. Great trucks great times.

Shit for 12 cylinders they only had 434 hp and not much torque !
475 non turbo n 525 with turbo if i am not mistaken... not bad for a 14 liter motor... not much torque though compared to today's diesels but extremely bad ass for its time

You can stuff a Sweet Sixteen in a 352, so a Buzzin Duzzin is a cinch
I hardly ever see any cabover semi trux out on the roads here in the USA nowadays, especially those Chevy ones.

No its not, take the mufflers off the thing so it can breath. Now thats what a V12 detroit is supposed to sound like!!!
I'll never forget the one my dad had back in the 80's. Had to add a gallon of oil in it everyday. Can't imagine him hauling chips and dust in that thing with straights on it. It was loud enough with a muffler. Thanks for sharing this. Brings back a lot of memories riding along with my dad back then.

The Jimmys are even worse; I’ve seen a few Titans in person but NEVER an Astro.
@@davidfrank693 Have a buddy who owns an Astro with a 6V92 and a 10-speed Road Ranger. Still have yet to hear it fire.
