like these but shift light starts flashing too early. That was no near rpm limiter
you can set up max rpm by yourself quite easy. And if you read the description it says "max rpm-1200 the first light comes on".

I have a 1988 325I and the power window switches stay lit anytime the ignition is on. Is this correct or should they be controlled headlight switch like all the other interior lights? Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

Yeah. In original service lights as the e30
civicsrock That is rather impossible and on the other hand useless. E36 service lights are not LEDs, but display. Shiftlights must be so bright that driver doesn't have to look at them to see them. We use 20000mcd LEDs :)
OK, well I mean in the original service light locations. In understand the need for brightness.
