A better option is to simply apply a few extra layers of fresh water-based TT glue (waiting for each layer to dry, of course). It is much easier to remove a thick layer than to try to peel off a thin one.

its seems rubber dependant, u cut through so easily without any effort... i had to push down the knife so hard for a clean rubber cut through even with a fresh surgery knife

Im used yinhe moon speed Red.thats really good rubber for fast spin attacker even when you used a view years still have a good performance.But the only problem is the Red Sponge is Doom so it makes really hard to reglueing rubber

Tried this on a Tenergy 05, it ripped the sponge and left a hole, tried with 3 differnet kind of tapes and nothing worked for me, is it just for chinese rubbers?
The older the glue gets the harder it becomes to remove. Put non stick pan on stove minimum heat possible. Place your rubber on it ..of course glue side down. Use your hand to move around the rubber in the pan with minimal pressure. The glue slowly rolls under the rubber n you can remove it easily
For me you have to put a lot of water glue like more is better after it dries peel it of smoothly
I am struggling to remove the old glue on Tenergy05 too. The sponge is very soft. So how did you manage eventually?

Probably you used 2 or 3 layers of glue. This guy has clearly glued his rubber once.

I'm lucky that I'm not playing with T05. =D I just tried Chinese rubbers when it happened ... They are cheaper and you have to improve yourself to get the same Speed and Spin. So it only was a 35€, 6 months old rubber.
Remove glue on rubber only. It',s glue on rubber but doesn't assembly on blade.
สุปราณี โรมา why would you have glue on rubber? In fact why would you want to remove glue from the sponge either? The reason to remove the rubber from the blade is bc it’s worn out and needs to be replaced

Junny Koh I bougt on auction Yinhe Y-4 blade and 2 Galaxy Moon Tense rubbers. For the price, it is very good quality. Rubbers are pretty spiny, good for serves, even for chops. But I recomend better blade. Mine is one of the cheapes, they do not make that model any more. But for all Chinese TT equipment, you must be very strong and have good tehnique. Now I play with Mizutani ZLC combined with T05fx on FH and T80fx on BH. Its very good, cause it does half job for you. I hope this will help, and if you have any questions about TT equipment, ask me and I will reply as soon as possible.
