The G2 is a custom Big Muff. Made by Pete Cornish for David Gilmour. It was used around the Animals era. It has a buffer that is a top notch Pink Floyd worthy buffer- so no true bypass. The tone control is more like the Rat pedal than the og Big Muff, it has less distortion but more sustain somehow. Super fancy voltage filtering and distribution. Build your own, it's standard parts, mostly. Get one and run it through a big clean tube amp. Hiwatt 70'sis recommended. It is something to behold.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the Russian muffuletta is based on the V8 (V7D or Black Russian). The pedal you are using for comparison is a V7C (Green Russian Style), so oranges and apples Maybe thats why you liked the rams version the most in the other video.

Men, I just got meself 3 MXR Fet Drivers in 1 week, heartily recommend for any type of music, BUttts: I also just tried out an IRIN California Sound(22€), and that cali has a good warm Jazz tone..., and I do have arriving an Irin Maximum, so noo worries!!! some of cheap-priced pedals aint cheap in tone at all, if youre going against chinese your wong man you wong!! Excellent voice, And guitar. I have an Alvarez and like it. It’s not until we play a guitar that’s up a notch in class do we realize how inferior our last guitar is . That is saying you start with crap like I did where the action is like an inch from the fretboard, then progressively buy better n better. Those shitty guitars allowed me to appreciate finger placement and strength.

I think the EHX sounds really sick in comparison, you got a good one! Muffs can all sound pretty different just like fuzz faces.

The Maximum sounds "digital" and limiting in my ears. Ive seen some reviews of it now. Not my pedal. I do like the Joyo R-20 so far though...

Beautiful performance. I just bought the same guitar used. Although it is a very good guitar with balanced tone but significantly lacks volume and projection. Is there any difference between this model and the more recent model with the traditional Alvarez double bridge in terms of tone and volume? Thanks

Sovtek Deluxe BM is badass. So is the American.

Listening from an iphone 13 the JHS seemed to cut through and the BM was muddy. I collect fuzz's and my best (sounding to me) is an old black Russian BM I bought new in a wooden box. Delicate, but the tone is awesome.

The G2 is an awesome pedal, it’s the one Cornish pedal that I think is unique. It sounds great with the gain down low, too. The price is hard to swallow. People who say they’re not worth it, probably right. I’ve never really played anything like a G2, though. The Toptone DG2 is good, but the buffer in the Cornish does make it sound different.

$400+ single effect pedals are FAR overpriced.

Even if it did have a patent on some special feature the Fulltone is 15 years old. A patent at it's very best would never go past 5 years old. Add to that there are literally only 7 different basic ways to create an analog OD circuit and they were all discovered and used in the last century. In short the Fulltone is a variation of a Opamp based Boss pedal. It's now always a case of he who is without sin casting the first moan, lol.

I liked the guitar on 4:18 inspired by Jack White but definitive your own, made me pickup my drumsticks. Can you guys compare that Joyo with a ep booster? I can not find such on YT but I am curious.

I just discovered the channel (which unfortunately looks to be on hiatus) and have been going through the reviews of the cheap pedals I'm strung out on. These guys are great and obviously the producer/voice over girl (probably Kenny or Wes's girlfriend or a family member I'm guessing) is an excellent editor. The sitcom music stingers between segments were hilarious. Hopefully whenever this nightmare ends (get the shot people...) the gang makes some more episodes.

I've been a hopeless "budget guitar pedal" junkie for a while now and my current delay (the Flamma FC03...or is it FC03?) just ain't getting the vibe I want in a pedal. The dual channel A-B option on the D-SEED's is what has really got my attention. Having a slap delay & then a longer delay at hand without futzing with the pedal would be great (especially whenever we get back to playing out again...if that ever happens...). I'm very tempted by the D-SEED 2... BTW, I loved the format and the obvious friendship and seat of yer pants vibe Kenny and Wes have is really refreshing. Their channel is criminally underrated and deserves an audience. I mean I don't think we need another guitar channel hosted by a dude who looks like a Gap model with zero personality who gets tons of subs off of the musical masturbation of playing a million notes without saying a damn thing. Gimme some truth...

Donner Answer - Question: Does anyone have a video or soundclip of this being used with guitar instead of bass? Answer: No, and won't be because it's meant to be used with bass :) for guitar we have several other units crafted for that.
